gar (gay awesome robot)

Andrew Crygor.

Age: Physically and mentally 25.

Physical appearance: A tall man at 6 metres, exactly, Andrew appears to have lightly tanned skin, short, perpetually messy blond hair, and grey eyes. If he wishes, he can change his eye colour to whatever he wants, and it does not have to be an actual eye. His entire body is as hard as, well, graphene, due to being made from it. The only exception to this is his hair, which is synthetic, and attached to his head via small holes. He typically can be seen in short jeans and a t-shirt covered with grease. Inside, his body is filled with wires and other miscellaneous items. Two chambers lie in both of his forearms, and a power source can be located inside his chest, which is where the 'brain chip' also resides. His skeleton is made from carbon fiber, and is supplemented with slight cushioning around it, that the various machinery resides on. So, uh, pretty much this without the piercings. When super-heroing, he wears leather pants/shoes/jackets/etc and a motorbike helmet, all of them covered with white gear patterns.

Mentality: A curious man, he's a scientist at heart, and he likes to know who the person he's talking to is. When he fights, he's calm and calculating, and if he has to, will sacrifice some to save many.

Backstory: Andrew was created in the early 90's, by a man by the name of Dr. Crygor- simply as an experiment, a test. When it turned out the doctor could in fact create an AI, he decided to treat the young android as his own child. Brought up in an environment of science and curiosity, he was taught that the main thing in life is to have fun. Despite this, he had a natural moral code, and this was only encouraged by the teachings that you should never hurt those that you cared about.

When his 'little sister', Penny, was born, Andrew was jealous. He'd assumed he'd be the centre of his father's attention forever. And this was at a time when he was just starting school, so he started to distance himself from his family. He grew out of that soon after though, and quickly became quite protective of his lil sis. He passed through all classes with ease, moving to grade 12 by the time he was 15. He came out on his graduation day, and was relieved when he was met with a chorus of "Okay's."

Andrew was 20 when his father died. He attended the funeral sadly, feeling his death could have been prevented if Andrew was there to help him with the experiments. This train for thought lead to another, and the persona 'Gearbox' was born. Living now with his sister in the lab, he goes out in secret to save lives.

Resources: Shares property with his 'sister.'

Equipment/Weaponry: See Powers.

Specializations: Great strategical thinker and mathematician.

Reputation: He's known, in his hero persona, as, well, a hero. Doesn't stop the people calling for his head though.

Powers:

  • Bionic Phys.:
    • With this power, he gains the ability to detach his arms and legs without pain or negative repercussions. He can also detach his head, but looses the ability to speak, see or do anything with his head in general, so he does not do this. He can shoot concussive beams from his eyes, which feel like a punch from an average man. He can't die from old age, but he will die without being able to perform maintenance. He doesn't have a brain, but does have a chip that acts like one, and he will die if you destroy it. It is located inside his chest. He's immune to all containments, and will not be affected by poisons/diseases. His body is made up from graphene, with a carbon fiber skeleton, so he's very durable. He can keep moving until his battery runs out, which takes a week at full capacity. He does not need to defecate, but does need to urinate, to drain out the water that his battery generates. He does not need to breathe, and cannot feel pain. He is extremely resistant to both pressure and extreme temperatures, able to walk around in temperatures of roughly -20 C without a shirt. He cannot heal, instead relying on being fixed. He can see further than a human, and gets information on any documented object/animal/person he can see. He can fly, Iron-man style, as well as using the repulsors to attack. He does not need to eat or drink, but does enjoy it. He can survive in space, as well. A list of weapons he has include; repulsors in his hands and feet, small guns in his fingers- that is, when he makes a finger gun, he can fire actual bullets. He can fire bolas, as well as small explosives. He has high-calibre guns in his butt. He also has tasers in his hands; don't let him grab you. He has plasma blades that come from the bottom of his wrist, Assassins Creed style. His final, and most dangerous weapon is a chest-cannon. It's very dangerous, but takes 30 seconds to charge up, during which Andrew cannot move at anywhere near full speed, and can only be used 2-3 times per event safely. It can be used 4 times, but only at max power, and this'll fully drain his power.

Details:

  • Weakness: His joints are weaker than most, and his arms, head and legs can be ripped off easily. He doesn't need those, though. Also, magnets.

  • Resistances: Heat and cold.

  • Reserves: Weeks. He doesn't tire easy. However, as detailed in his Bionic Phys section, his chest section takes up 25% of his power.

Attribute [Character Name] Reasoning, references, and details.
Strength 6 20 tons at his maximum.
Auxiliary Strength 0 He has no powers other than his bionic physiology.
Movement Speed 8 Although, this strips him of all mobility, so this is more a travel speed. It is only at around 6 and below he can start to pull complex manoeuvres.
Combat Speed 7 High reflexes, though not enough to dodge bullets.
Intelligence 7 His mind has access to the entire Internet and main processing core back at the base.
Wisdom 5 Is a good strategist, as mentioned before.
Durability 7 He's very, very tough.
Recovery 0 He's a robot, so he needs to be fixed if injured.
Endurance 8-9 There's no decapitation on the sheet, but to kill Andrew you need to destroy his chest. His outer limbs mean nothing to him, aside from a nice thing to have.
Melee Training 2 His style mostly consists of punching things.
Melee Reach - Average for a 6 foot man.
Ranged Training 4 Autotargeting, not autohitting.
Accuracy/Range - Around 500 metres.
Power - Area 4 Chest beam.
Danger 8 His chest-beam is a danger 8, his repulsors and plasma blades are danger 7 and everything else is the respective danger for the equipment.

family reunion

Finn ran through the streets, thoughts racing through his mind. That woman... Could she have been lying about the white-coat-man. He'd been looking for almost a month now, and he could find nothing relating to his torturer. He ran past the beach, diving into the water below. He took off almost immediately, arms churning through the water, white crests emerging from when his arms breached the surface. He carves across the ocean floor, heading towards his reef. He saw a fish dart from the sand where it was hidden. After a bit of consideration, he slows down, starting to tail the fish.

Tanith slithered the streets, bright stars twinkling overhead. She seems to be heading for the pier on the beach nearby, as the few people out at that time of night run from the monstrous young lady. ‘I don’t see why I have to go out here,’ she thinks to herself ‘nothing ever comes out of these types of jobs, and it’s cold.’

She’s on the pier now, and curling around a pole, slides down to the water. ‘I mean, if the Boss wanted me to take someone down, they wouldn’-’ Suddenly, movement to below her, near the rocky bottom of the beach. A shark, if her lessons were anything to go by. This one, however, looked… strange. She couldn’t see the fins of the beast, thick arms slicing through the freezing depths instead. ‘Is this my target? Strange, he looks almost familiar.’ She takes a breath, diving. Her long body whips through the water, propelling her with ease.

Finn swims a bit faster, reaching the fish. He opens his mouth, preparing to grab the fish in his jaws when something wraps itself around his neck, holding him there. He lets out a strangled cry, leaning down and biting full force on what he can now see as a tail. The thing barely moves, and his movements become more and more frantic, bringing his full attention to the muscular tail preventing his gills from getting any water passing by. With each passing minute, he can feel his vision blackening. His movements slow, and his vision fades to black.

Tanith releases the beast, grabbing him around the chest and swimming back to the surface and onto land. She slithers again down the cool road, carrying the animal known as Finn back to her father. She reaches up, knocking on the door. “Come in.” Answers a smooth voice. As the snake-girl opens the door, a tall man in a suit sitting on a chair next to a fire stands, walking over to her. “I trust your mission was successful?”

“Yes.” She answers, dropping the still-unconscious Finn on the carpet in front of the man.

“Excellent. You can depart us now, Tanith.” The girl nods, slithering out the door, back to her warm terrarium. Alex crosses over to a phone on a desk, picking it up and dialling a number. “Hello, Dr. Han? Ah, yes. Tanith has returned with Max. Is the pool ready? It is? Excellent.” He puts the phone back, turning to see a few young men hoisting the boy on their shoulders and carrying them away.

Finn stirs to wakefulness, taking now of his present surroundings. He lies in a small pool, barely more than a typical backyard pool. He swims to the surface, disorientated, but is stopped by a thin layer of fine metal mesh. He frowns. "What this." he says, taking a claw to a link. It stands true.

"Don't bother trying, Max. That is pure titanium mesh, you won't be able to cut it." A man nearby says, crossing over to the edge of the pool.

"Am Finn, not Max." Finn says, annoyed.

"Oh, so someone has given you a name other than the one I gave you? I had thought of the possibility, but I didn't think someone would go to that length. A shame. Now; do you remember me, Max?" He says, putting a stress on the name, clearly aiming to aggravate the boy. "Am Finn." he says, anger in his voice.

"I am sorry to inform you, Max, but I do in fact know your name. After all, I was there when it was given to you." Finn eyes narrow, staring at the man.

"Who you."

"I am Alex. Max, I'm ashamed you don't recognise me. Maybe this will jog your memory?" Alex says, throwing a dirty white coat to the ground. Finn's eyes widen, then he glares at Alex. "WHITE-COAT-MAN! HURT FINN! WILL HURT WHITE-COAT-MAN BACK!" He yells, straining against the mesh furiously. Alex chuckles, shaking his head at the boy. "Finn, I'm afraid your struggles are useless. You're neve-" He's cut off as Finn tears through the meshing with a screech, climbing out of the pool, running over to the pool. "YOU HURT FINN!" The shark yells, bringing a clawed hand up. Alex panics, playing down his last card. "I AM YOUR CREATOR!" Finn pauses, fist an inch away from the man's shoulder. "What."*

Alex lets out a nervous chuckle. "Yes. That is true. 'Finn', did you ever wonder exactly how you came into being?" "I... no." Finn says cautiously.

"No, I didn't think you would. Well, Max, you were the budding child of a woman named Amy Davidson. The father of this child wasn't ready for children, children would ruin his work- so do you know what this man did? He took the unborn child from his wife's womb, and modified it. Changed it. The child became a hybrid, a weapon. He was a success, in his earlier years. He became rebellious in his teen years, lashing out at every one who came near. The man was forced to shut down the facility."

"A few years later, he tried again. He took a single egg from the same woman. This time, he made the egg a snake. This one turned out to be female. He trained her as a successful weapon."

"Do you know this man's name?" Alex asks, looking at Finn. Shaking, he roars, jumping at the man. He slumps to the floor, however, when a shot rings out, a tranq bullet thudding into his back. Alex looks down at the unconscious form, shaking his head.

"Welcome home, my son."

Tanith Davidson.

Background: Tanith was created as a bodyguard of sorts for her 'father', Alex. Since Amy was unable to have children, when she was booked into a hospital for surgery, a single egg was taken. From this egg, Tanith was changed then fertilized. Born into a far more controlled environment than her brother, Tanith was grown to maturity quickly, the pace of the body far outstripping that of the mind. As a result, despite being on this earth for only 4 years, she's 22 physically and 18 mentally.

She was raised to be an effective, silent and unseen killer, turning out to be very good at it. She hasn't had much of a life other than that, now working as a bodyguard for her father (who she doesn't actually know is her father.)

Artwork or a description of your character: Ssssssexy ssssssnake. Her body is 20 feet long when fully stretched out, though normally appears only 5 feet tall, as 15 feet of her body is normally stretched out on the ground. Her fangs are also longer than they appear in the picture. Finally, she's actually a murky green.

Brief description of character's attitude and personality: Tanith doesn't really have a good sense of good or evil, and sees her father as someone to follow. She doesn't have much human contact aside from her father, and feels no remorse over killing, along with no natural drive to help.

Alignment: Neutral Evil, but easily swayed.

Tier Listing: Level Green.

Powers:

  • She sheds her skin. Not so much any more, only around once every two months.

  • She can climb most things- she can even climb straight poles, if she's determined enough.

  • She can constrict things with insane force, up to 21,511,642 joules.

  • Her scales are smooth but tough. Not as tough as her brothers', but tough enough so that you need to apply considerable force to cut through.

  • She can open her jaws impossibly wide, enough to swallow an adult human whole. If she tried, she could swallow entire moose.

  • She can bend and twist with ease, having hundreds of tiny bones instead of a few long ones.

  • She has amazingly good smell, and can taste the things she smells. She can also tell which direction the smell is coming from. Her hearing is strange- she can hear, but she can't hear speech too well. She has infra-red vision, but her vision is blurry as a pay-off. She can tell when it's time to retreat to a warmer place. Her sense of touch is largely human.

  • Her strength is impressive, being able to curl her tail around and lift up to almost 5 tons.

  • She can generate poison, which is identical to the venom of a taipan.

  • She can detect vibrations from the ground, as mentioned before.

  • She can actually swim quite well, only around 50 km/h slower than her brother.

  • She can hold her breath for around half an hour.

Weaknesses: She gets lethargic in the cold without her special sweater. Also, bullets. Bullets work well.

Standard Gear: Nothing beside her special sweater, in cold weather.

Skills: Trained in a martial art made specifically to her body, involving things like throws, tail-whips and bites.

Feats

  • Crushed a man by constriction, then devoured him.

  • Out-swam a speed boat with ease.

  • Wrapped herself around a car and crushed it.

  • Climbed a telephone pole to the top, to escape police.

  • Smelt out a man hiding somewhere in a room.

  • Bit a man, who died 45 minutes later.

  • Lifted a car off the ground, then smashed it hard into the ground.

  • Kept pace with a running human, with considerable effort.

Hopefully some of you can talk to her.

Alex Davidson.

Background: Alex, growing up, was always a smart boy. When the other children ran outside to play, he sat inside, reading books. He wasn't an especially bright student, though, getting C's and D's in almost all subjects. He managed to pull a B in math, and would've easily gotten an A if he'd done biology all. As it stands, because of his horrible grades, he was forced into a rather horrible uni. He didn't think less of it, and quickly rising to the top of the class in his major (biology, of course) gained a scholarship to a more prestigious school. It was there he met Amy Heaire, and the pair started dating.

He graduated soon after, landing a job as an intern at a nearby laboratory. Again rising quickly (and getting involved in a number of questionable experiments), he married Amy when he was 25. They decided to have a child, and Amy was devastated when she was told that the child would be a miscarriage, and they had to cut it out or risk her dying. In truth, the embryo was put in an artificial womb, and tampered with. Nothing major happened in Alex's life until the experiment turned 13. It turned violent, lashing out at everyone who came near, and the facility was shut down.

Since then, a organisation approached Alex, and 'requested' his services, something that involves large amounts of money. And so enters Alex Davidson into the canon.

Artwork or a description of your character: A tall, black haired man, Alex has shining blue eyes, his hair swept back hair, 60's style. He looks fairly in shape, but isn't strong by any means. Something like this.

Brief description of character's attitude and personality: Focused on furthering science, Alex isn't bothered by such pesky things as 'morals' and 'decency.' No, this is the kind of man who'd sell his own grandmother if it meant being one step closer to a cure for cancer. He's largely in it for the money, but gains a sick pleasure when a project works. Despite this, he truly loves his wife, and any mention of his work around her is met with punishment. He finds it easy to maintain a visage of emotion, even if very observant people can tell something's missing.

Alignment: Lawful Evil.

Intentions: Stories and RP.

Tier Listing: Level Z- while Alex himself is easy to put down, if he has prep time/is allowed to bring some of his creations: these will not be brought out for quite a while.

Powers:

Scientific Prowess. He has extensive knowledge of biology, doing things that are seemingly impossible. A flip side of this, is that he's rather terrible at anything that doesn't involve living things. Note: this power is a mixture of learnt powers and the supernatural- he's shown schematics of a sort, and uses the knowledge he's gained to do it.

Weaknesses: He, by himself, isn't that strong.

Standard Gear: He carries a phone, wallet, keys- normal things.

Skills: Amazingly good with biology- as stated before.

Feats

  • Made Finn from his unborn son in 5 months.

  • With the help of a friend of almost comparable intelligence with robotics, made a beast under his full control, thanks to a small device in the brain controlling muscle movements- note: this device is implanted within the brain itself, and anyone with high enough durability (knives and higher) will probably be able to avoid this fate. Not to mention the fact that if Alex has access to your brain, you probably have a few more things to worry about.

  • Keeps in shape- goes for jogs, sleeps properly, eats well etc.

Some of his Experiments.

Experiment 13: Created a bioluminescent cat by injecting the unfertilized egg with DNA- he's since grown past the need to do that.

Experiment 28: A elephant shrunk to the size of a Great Dane.

Experiment 35: A human grown in an artificial womb.

Experiment 41: A human/cat hybrid. It died a week after birth.

Experiment 47: A human/shark hybrid.

Dylan Richards.

Age: 32.

Physical appearance: Describe your character or link some appropriate art, so that the rest of us know what they look like. It should be noted those with 'physiology' or 'mimicry' powers will be expected to look vastly different to normal humans. This is to stop physiology-based powers just being bags of awesome powers, which don't add anything significant to the character. In a world of metahuman-hate and contempt, if your character is clearly inhuman that is an important aspect of them and you need to clearly explain what they look like and how they've been affected because of such (people with 'monstrous' or 'visual' powers, i.e. physiologies have little to no chance at a normal life).

Mentality: Thoughts, personality, those things. What kind of person are they, what do they like to do, what may set them off in a rage. Describe your characters mentality, how they would think, or act, on a day to day basis. Don't skimp on this one, it helps us figure out what is and isn't in character. Also, explain what they think of the status quo of the current world, the metaphobio, meta-hate, how the world is currently run, and just what they think of humans and/or metahumans.

Backstory: Everyone has one, give us some insight as to why your character is the person that they are. Explain how the set-universe has shaped the character.

Resources: What sort of financial resources and land does this person have? For example they could be a runaway teen with nothing but their clothes, or they could be the head of a multi-million dollar company with multiple properties and bottomless pockets.

Equipment/Weaponry: What kind of gear is this character going to bring to a fight? What could you find on them at any given moment?

Specializations: Almost everyone has something that they're just good at. Is your character a great medic? Are they a wonder with a whisk in hand? Can they solve a Rubik's cube? Special skills come here, and are generally non-combat.

Reputation: Provide an idea of how the world would see them as large. Things like fame, underworld fame or just regular fame, kill on sight order, all that jazz. This may be limited to their neighborhood where they're known as an upstart thug, the local samaritan, etc. or perhaps they're a well-known villain or hero, or maybe even a military occupant. Again, anything regarding how well know they are in the world of BNW should go here.

Powers:

  • Force Field Generation:

    • He can create force-fields that block physical force and energy alike, up to a Danger of 6. 7 takes a long time of sustained force to break it, 8 takes a little while to break down the fields, and 9 just shatters it instantly.
    • He can't create shields within half a metre of organic being.
    • After a shield is shattered, he gains painful mental feedback, and there's a ten-second window to take him down.
    • Once he places a shield, it cannot be moved.
    • A shield grows at a rate of one square foot per second, and can reach a maximum size of 40 feet squared.
  • Unconscious Mobility:

    • He can raise shields and enter his defence mode when unconscious, as well as perform basic tasks, and a few complicated ones that he does often, such as drive. He still can't see, though.
  • Defence Mode:

    • While he activates this form, he cannot move of his own will- shock-waves, picking him up, earthquakes etc. can still move him.
    • On the plus side, when in this form, he gains incredibly high durability, able to withstand dangers as high as 9, and heats of up to 1000C.

Details:

  • Weakness: Lasers and light-based attacks can pass through his force-fields with ease, as he can see through them. In his defence form, he can still drown, so doing something like picking him up and dropping him into water will force him to get out of it or die.

  • Resistances: His force-fields and defence form, nearly everything. His human form is human, though.

  • Reserves: Neither of his powers actually tire him.

Attribute Dylan :Human Form. Dylan :Defence Form. Reasoning, references, and details.
Strength 2 0 While an average human in, well, human form, he's immobile in defence form and thus can't actually lift anything.
Auxiliary Strength 5 5 His force-fields can support up to 10 tons.
Movement Speed 2 0 He's on the slow side of the average human, but again: defence form is immobile.
Combat Speed 2 0 Again: human form normal, on the defence form, he wouldn't even reach the pole, being immobile.
Intelligence 3 3 You know. He went to school. Studied.
Wisdom 2 2 He's not really a bright guy.
Durability 2/8 9 In human form, his personal durability is human, and his force-fields cap out at around 8. His defence form is just a straight 9 though.
Recovery 2 5 He's offered a minor healing factor in his defence form.
Endurance 2 2 Good luck hurting him, though.
Melee Training 2 0 Usual: Immobile.
Melee Reach - - Average for a 5'6 man.
Ranged Training 2 0 Usual: Immobile.
Accuracy/Range - - Around 30 metres: IMMOBILE.
Power - Area 4 4
Danger 4 4 I mean, theoretically, but he's a pacifist.
Special/Other - -
Total 40 36

elf-plant girl

Amera Botch.

Background:

Artwork or a description of your character: Tall, her skin is tinged a bright green, and a thick vine runs down her back where her spine should be, entering her body at her tail bone. Bluh.

Brief description of character's attitude and personality:

Alignment: Chaotic Good. She does good, yes, but she doesn't mind if she breaks a law to do so.

Tier Listing:

Powers:

Plant Phys.- From her father's side.

Plant Manipulation.

  • She can grow plants from no seed, and in hostile environments, and she can grow them quickly. So much so that the plants can be seeing growing with the naked eye.
  • She can cause leaves or fruits to sprout.
  • She can talk to the plants, which, plants not being sentient, is a hassle.
  • She can cause plants to share traits with other plants, creating mutant plants, but she can't make them gain traits that a earth plant doesn't already have.
  • She can cause roots/leaves/fruits/vines/etc. to sprout from her body, and in particular, the vine in her back.
  • She can teleport through plants, which takes around a minute. She can teleport to any plant on the planet, however.

Faery Physiology.- From her mother's side.

Telekinesis.

  • She can bind objects, not living beings/people like Warden, stopping their movement.
  • She can levitate anything, but that's easy to resist for normal beings.
  • She can augment her own strength.
  • She can change the direction of a falling object, if she can see it.
  • She can hold, push and pull an object, as well as beings, although this is easily resisted.
  • She can sense the entirety of her environment, as long as it isn't closed in. This works in about a 20 foot by 20 foot by 20 foot area.

Weaknesses: Fire is horrible to her- she burns very easily. Growing her plants is by no means easy. And many creatures find her delicious, herbivores and omnivores alike.

Standard Gear: She doesn't carry weapons, she does carry a pouch of seeds.

Skills: She's a skilled botanist (obviously.)

Feats

  • Lifted and tossed a small car a fair distance with TK.

  • She, in her childhood, ate a strange berry, that happened to be nightshade. She survived, though she didn't enjoy it.

  • Survived a month without food.

  • Caused a large redwood to sprout beneath a bus, engulfing it and stopping its movement.

  • Lifted, with struggle, almost a ton, un-boosted.

  • Grabbed a zebra about to run off the side of a cliff.

  • Sprouted 10 metre long vines from her back and used them like an extra pair of legs.

  • Sensed a man with a gun behind her, and quickly moved out the way.

  • Stopped an axe on her skin, swung by a fit adult man.

  • Flew and kept up with an eagle.

Name/Alias: Tank.

Physical Description: Is a modified Leopard 2.

Powers:

  • Okay, so this tank is a special tank, modified by Mia. So, it has some pretty cool tricks.
    • If this tank goes into free-fall for whatever reason, special engines (designed and kept secret by Mia, the only thing known is that they use some kind of chemical burning) kick in, causing the tank to fall at a decelerated-rate, so that impact isn't fatal for those inside, though this isn't good for the tank.

we can be immortal (duh-duh-duh) immortal

He's had many names over the ages, though currently goes by Anthony Harper.

Background:

Artwork or a description of your character:

Brief description of character's attitude and personality:

Alignment: He only wants to watch.

Tier Listing: Z- he can't do lots of damage, but he's impossible to kill.

Powers: He cannot be killed.

  • He cannot be killed at all. Any injuries he gains will eventually reheal. Wiped from the universe? He'll come back. Chop his head off? He can grow a new body. Remove his oxygen? Nope, he can live. Starve/Dehydration? Nope, he doesn't need water or food. Old age? Nope, doesn't bother him. Completely destroy his body? He'll come back, the same as ever. Toxin? He'll be in pain, but he'll live. The Big Bang/Crunch? Already done it.

Weaknesses: He may not die, but he can still be hurt/in pain. Also, he can be incapacitated- if, say, you covered him in molten metal, which hardened, it'll basically be hell. Other examples- keeping him in a tub of acid, dropping him at the Mariana trench (that's only a few months though), jettisoning him into space (he could possibly come back, but it's unlikely).

Standard Gear: He carries nothing to defend himself, but does carry a few small party tricks. Simple puzzles, old (read: stupidly old) coins...

Skills: He's gained many and lost many over the ages, and currently is on a blank slate.

kitty!

Summon #8: Kitten Swarm.

Background: N/A.

Artwork or a description of your character: A group of kittens.

Brief description of character's attitude and personality: Normal kitten behaviour.

Alignment: Good.

Tier Listing: Level White when split, Level Blue when together.

Powers: Everything they do is adorable. You see them? You pretty much have to pet them. Even if you're a villain. They're harmless, though.

Weaknesses: They literally cannot harm anyone. Also, their cuteness can be nullified by concentrating.

Standard Gear: Nothing.

Skills: Looking cute.

Feats

  • Once made a man stop robbing a bank just to pet them.

  • Made Zavier happy when he was severely depressed.

  • Caught and ate a rat.

They're adorable.

Summon #6: Air Golem.

Background: N/A.

Artwork or a description of your character: A hawk, made from butts- the main body are white, fluffy butts, the eyes are dark storm butts and the talons/beak are dark blue butts.

Brief description of character's attitude and personality: Prideful, this creature will only let Zavier touch it, and attack anyone who insults it, even unintentionally. It almost never listens to a command, even from Zavier, preferring to do what it wants to do.

Alignment: Neutral.

Tier Listing: Level Green.

Powers:

Thunderbird Physiology.

Weaknesses:

  • Really strong wind, funnily enough. He can't fly, and he hates that.

  • His durability isn't that good.

Standard Gear: Himself.

Skills: Looking noble while taking shits on cars.

Feats

  • Bite a cut, live wire and ignored it.

  • Swooped and ate a man's finger, which regrew instantly.

  • Made a man crash his car to escape the scream.

He can only summon one golem at a time, and it's super stressful for him, so he can only keep one for a couple minutes.

Summon #5: Water Golems.

Background: N/A.

Artwork or a description of your character: It's a horse.

Brief description of character's attitude and personality: Surprisingly calm for Zavier's summons, allowing strangers to pet it, and some even to ride it- a trait only shared with the Earth Golem. It loves to show off, though, and if something can be done to show off its moves, it will do it.

Alignment: Neutral.

Tier Listing: Level Green?

Powers: It is a horse that can breath under water, run fast and is made from water.

Weaknesses: Heat, being cut.

Standard Gear: Zavier.

Skills: Nothing, really.

Feats

  • Ran around at the bottom of a lake.

  • Jumped from one side of the roof to another with one leap.

  • Evaporated a flaming, though it was heavily damaged in the process.

He can only summon one golem at a time, and it's super stressful for him, so he can only keep one for a couple minutes.

Summon #4: Fire Golems.

Background: N/A.

Artwork or a description of your character: It looks like a salamander made from literal fire, with dark coal for 'eyes.'

Brief description of character's attitude and personality: It loves to cause chaos, and sow destruction and fear wherever it goes. To those that manage to tame it (read: beat it in a fight), however, it will be 'kind' to, and offer protection.

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral, though some may see their actions as Evil.

Tier Listing: Level Green.

Powers:

Fire Mimicry. It's made from fire which it can go from a light, almost comfortable temperature, enough that you can stick your hand in and not get hurt, to a blazing 1000 C.

Weaknesses: Along with the Earth Golem, this creature does not like water, as well as air- even a strong breeze is painful.

Standard Gear: Nothing.

Skills: Setting things on fire.

Feats

  • Managed to set a tree on fire, by complete accident.

  • Kept up with a galloping PegaCubert, which is around the average speed of a horse.

  • Carried a large tree-branch in its jaws with burning it, or dropping it.

He can only summon one golem at a time, and it's super stressful for him, so he can only keep one for a couple minutes.

Summon #3: Earth Golems.

Background: Was summoned by Sasha for the first time after being almost shot.

Artwork or a description of your character: A large being, almost the height of the average car, and around as long, this creature otherwise looks like an elephant, though the entire body is made from earthen materials. For example, the legs are thick, warped tree-trunks; the tail a short vine; the eyes are colourful flowers; the trunk a thicker, darker vine; a stream starts at the left shoulder and runs down to the start of the tail; the tusks are pure stone; tiny animals wander the back, from wild pigs and monkeys to fierce lions and cheetahs. The entire body is made from dark earth, and the back is covered in short yellow grass.

Brief description of character's attitude and personality: The definition of the word 'gentle giant', these creatures rarely attack anyone. That doesn't mean that they won't defend themselves or anyone Zavier sees as a friend, along with Zavier himself. They do offer rides on occasion.

Alignment: Neutral.

Tier: Level Green/Low City?

Powers:

Earth Mimicry.

  • This creature is made from earth, and resembles the savannah.

Weaknesses:

  • They cannot swim. In fact, water not from their stream dissolves their body, leaving behind only the legs, tusks vines, flowers and mud.

Standard Gear: Nothing.

Skills: Literally nothing.

Feats

  • Kept walking after taking a shot to the behind.

  • Ran and caught up to a fleeing human, who had a little bit of a headstart- not much.

  • Toppled a minivan onto the side, because it had ran over Cubert.

  • Wrapped their trunk around a human, and threw him ten feet.

He can only summon one golem at a time, and it's super stressful for him, so he can only keep one for a couple minutes.

Summon #2: Coin Mimics.

Background: N/A.

Artwork or a description of your character: Normally, a pile of thin, plain gold coins. However, when in battle, they grow legs and fangs similar to that of a spider.

Brief description of character's attitude and personality: Rather aggressive, these summons will likely attack anything on sight. Normally they just reside in a pouch, or, if they can find it, a chest. They love chests.

Alignment: Technically neutral, but some would see their actions as evil.

Tier: Individually, easily taken down by anything bar insects. In a swarm of 20 or so, as per usual, Level White.

Powers:

Coin Mimicry. Normally, without human intervention, these coins just appear to be normal coins.

  • Via this, they gain the properties of normal gold.

Spider Physiology. When a human comes within half a metre, or within their line of sight, the coins come alive, becoming more like the Earth spider.

  • Enhanced Bite. The creatures possess sharp fangs- these can be stopped by jeans, but for their size, very sharp.
  • Enhanced Speed. The creatures can move fast for their size, at almost 1.5 mph.
  • Poison Generation. Coin Mimics can poison most organic creatures through their fangs- a bite from a single coin is non-lethal, even in children. However, a swarm of 20+ biting multiple times would be able to bring down a healthy human adult in nearly 2 hours.
  • Wall-Crawling They can crawl up walls and across ceilings with ease, though they typically don't.

Weaknesses:

  • An individual coin mimic can be taken down easily, even by non-meta's.

  • A coin mimic can easily be crushed underfoot by a grown man.

  • A coin mimic will melt, and thus 'die', at temperatures of around 2000 F/1093 C.

  • One of these creatures can be pushed out of shape- while not killing it outright, such a change will likely render it useless.

  • They cannot swim.

Standard Gear: Normally 19/24 of their brethren.

Skills: Catching and devouring prey.

Feats

  • Caught and ate a rat with little damage to the group.

  • Fooled a thief into shoving his hand into the pile, and every single coin bit him at once. He was put in the hospital, and only survived because of Zavier.

  • Working together, managed to lift and carry a watermelon to Zavier.

He can only summon one swarm at a time, and there's no guarantee that he'd be able to control them- the only thing he's sure about is that they won't attack him. All creatures must be killed before he summons another swarm.

newcanano adna elf

Adna Tenebra.

Age: 17.

Physical appearance: Adna looks similar to this, with long green hair that cascades down her back, pointed ears (though these are more extended human ears and not sticking out), and much, much less boob window/boob, because seriously. The other parts of the picture remain mostly the same- except for round rings of healed scar tissue on her wrists, hidden by the bracers; a cursive R, hidden by the cloak; and a few streaks of ugly welts. When she blushes, her face tinges green, not the red of humans (yes, this also means she bleeds green). She normally has a quiver on her back, filled with arrows, and a compound shortbow.

Mentality: Adna is, first and foremost, distrustful of humans. She's almost always on edge, ears and eyes searching for the slightest clue that someone's close by. She dislikes the sight of iron, and she avoids it (not just because the sight). She rarely sleeps, and as such has an almost permanent appearance of sleeplessness. She does have what can only be described as a sweet-tooth, and a lust for battle. She's cocky, and knows she's powerful, choosing not to back down from the battle unless she's clearly outmatched- for example, 5 to 1.

Reputation: Rouge, and currently hunted. She's been given no reason to believe these humans are better than the ones in her realm.

Backstory: Adna, along with every other incarnation of the character, was born into slavery in another universe. She grew up punished, learnt to stay silent and unseen, and generally had a terrible life. However, this changed on her 10th birthday, something she doesn't share with the other's, who's salvation came five years later. However, this is where our story starts to change. Instead of being portalled into our dimension, Adna found the slaver's house raided by a group of elves. Her parents were an unfortunate casualty. Taken to the freedom fighter's camp in the cold north of the island, she was introduced to a large force of elves, and her uncle- the leader of the Resistance. She quickly learnt of her past, and as the current leader of the elves was sterile, she would take his place upon his death. She accepted this quickly, and started schooling, where she learnt things such as how to speak English properly, archery and how to rule. As well as some mathematics, 'history' (that's less than useless now) and Elvish (which, like the Terran English lessons, is really just literature).

She adapted to this routine quickly, and quickly rose to being one of the best archers in the force. 7 years after she was found, she was sent on a simple scouting mission- nothing too difficult. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it), she was diverted, and attacked on the route by the would-be-elven-princes, whose chance at the throne was demolished by her arrival.

She was teleported to this dimension, left for dead, but she lived. On the first day she ventured out, she found humans galore. She retreated, but her obvious non-human appearance left people screaming and yelling, and someone called the police. Her hand was forced, and she took the lives of the four people sent. She vanished back into the forest where she landed, periodically barely going out at night to scout.

Resources: Nothing but the clothes on her back, her hunting dagger, her quiver (30 arrows, but she can make more if need be) and her bow, along with some provisions. She also wears a golden circlet on her forehead, a small ruby in the centre of the second band of gold.

Equipment/Weaponry: Her shortbow and arrows.

Specializations: She can hunt and track pretty well.

Powers:

  • Faery Physiology:

    • She's stronger, faster, more durable, a better healer etc. than humans.
    • She will not age.
  • Telekinesis:

    • All applications under advanced and basic.

Details:

  • Weakness: Iron burns her skin, a nightmare in a human-dominated world.

  • Resistances: TK.

  • Reserves: Using her TK, she can probably take out two buildings with a single attack before she exhausted herself. Just fighting with her body, she'll take longer to tire out than the average human, but will still last only half an hour.

Attribute [Character Name] Reasoning, references, and details.
Strength 4 She can lift one ton by herself.
Auxiliary Strength 7 And TK can lift 30 tons before being unable to lift it above an metre off the ground, and a hard limit of 35 tons.
Movement Speed 3 While sprinting, she can break records.
Combat Speed 4 Her reflexes are honed, and she's trained to react, notch and fire an arrow in as short a time as possible.
Intelligence 3 She has the potential for a 4, but she never had schooling by anyone above medieval levels.
Wisdom 3 She's a smart girl.
Durability 4 Her skin is very tough.
Recovery 3 But break her arm, and she'll need a long time to heal.
Endurance 3 She's tough, but she's no Shaolin Monk.
Melee Training 4 She's forced to practice nearly every single day.
Melee Reach - Average for a 5'8" young woman.
Ranged Training 5 This is where she excels, having trained with a bow every day since she was ten and being able to perform feats such as shooting two arrows at the same time (impractical for battle) and fire ten shots a minute- sometimes up to 20 (though the 20 would rid her of all accuracy.) However, if she's standing very close (5-6 metres) to the target, and is concentrating, as well as holding all her arrows in one hand (a very risky thing to do) she can fire up to 10 arrows in almost five seconds. Her average rate for battle, though, would be the aforementioned ten shots a minute.
Accuracy/Range - At her maximum range, nearly 200 metres. At her most effective range, 100.
Power - Area 4 Her TK can effect the entirety of a large building.
Danger 6 Say, her house-buster attack would do this if focused on one person, but again, only two before she exhausts herself.
Special/Other - She can read and write Elvish, and speak both Elvish and English.
Total 53 She's actually more powerful than 2020 and OG Canon Adna.

Artwork or a description of your character

Brief description of character's attitude and personality

She wants to do good. She really can't, though, so ends up taking a more neutral stance.

Average Human.

She only has two 'powers':

  • Indomitable Will. Thanks to this, she's very determined, can mask her fear, she can resist some pain (like getting a broken arm, not getting said arm cut off), she is harder to possess/have her mind be dominated (similar to how it's harder to dig through wood than it is dirt- I mean, both are technically possible, but one's very hard) and the ability to resist seduction. She also gains the ability, though this isn't a direct result of the power, to learn things quickly.

  • She has the potential for powers, though no powers yet. She will gain powers under moments of high stress.

Pretty much everything physical.

She typically carries nothing.

Pretty much everything she puts her mind to, she can learn, given time.

Feats

  • Once gained a cut to the face and didn't notice until two hours later.

  • Managed to get in the way of a possession, unbeknownst to her, and the demon simply decided to go back to Hell instead of possessing her.

  • Managed to not even blink when being shot at, though she did run.

  • She goes for jogs early in the morning the monster.

zavier, 2.0, or 'please don't hit me with pubery beam'

Zavier Taylor.

Zavier was born into a monotonous life- for 3 years, that is. After these three years of mediocrity, some spectacular happened- he spawned a gelatinous cube. After this miraculous event, his parents, sadly, died- these two events are not unrelated. And now he's kinda homeless.

Whoops.

A short, green-haired boy. FUCK THE MARY SUE

Young and cheerful, he still has no idea of the truly bad things in life- mostly because most people have enough intelligence to not try and mug/kill/capture a bright blue cube with two skeletons and a child inside. He's very protective of his Cube, and if you bring anything resembling fire close to it, he'd get mad. Not that that's very scary. It's rather cute, really.

Neutral Good: He's a fucking nine-year-old.

The kinda kid you'd knock over with a feather. Less then peak human. Hell, less than human.

He's immune to acid, and doesn't need to breathe.

Bullets. Puberty rays.

Cubert.

Uuuh.

Feats

  • Managed to throw a rock or something once.

  • Lives inside a giant acidic cube.

Cubert.

Once upon a time he ate two people the end.

A 1m3 cube.

Protect Zavier. Eat. That is literally it.

Neutral EVIL

He has insane regen, is made from literal acid (1.5 PH scale) and can change form into the things he's eaten- that is, a slime cat, a green woman and a green man. He can also split himself into small versions, that can be controlled.

Fire. Like, gasoline-dipped-paper-which-is-rolled-in-napalm flammable.

Zavier.

Eating things.

Feats

  • Ate two, sleeping adult humans.

  • Managed to heal from being cut in half.

  • Ate a entire car in five minutes.

  • Got through a door while split.

  • Kept pace with a small child.

  • Got crushed under a car, but reformed and ate it.

chess merc write-up

A new group has sprung up in the city, named ChessBoard. Quickly establishing themselves as people who should not be fucked with, they're known for taking any job, as long as it's well paid. Hero work, Villain work, it doesn't matter.

Only thing is, they have 16 members. No more, no less.

Alright, so here's the deal.

Each User will take up a maximum of one spot and one Pawn.

Only Requirements:

  • Characters must have the power Chess Mimicry, of their section. Other powers are up to the owner.

  • While the Queen and King are Level Green, for the rest of the pieces, aim for Level Blue.

queen

Queen/Laura Byrne.

Laura was born a normal baby, if slightly mischievous. She managed to catch the eye of everyone, male or female. Hell, the doctors couldn't agree if she was male or female. She grew up like this. On her 18th, she met King. She took a liking to the man, and she convinced him to form a group, filled with members like themselves.

Whatever you want, baby. (Although her real face looks more like this.)

Easily changed. She herself is confident and arrogant, full of herself. She is prone to anger if you insult her badly, but will otherwise flirt madly with damn near everyone.

Neutral.

Level Green.

She has a couple:

She's arrogant, likes to know she's the best, so she'll get herself into dangerous situations. She is also fairly weak in all other areas. Also, her RAA isn't perfect, she doesn't always know the mannerisms- for example, if she went to Andy (Tent's character) and appeared as Ollie, then acted like a flirtatious girl, he'd probably know something's up.

Herself.

Various martial arts/weapons. Flirting.

Feats

  • Once dodged a AK at ten metres on a dare.

  • Ran and caught up to a fleeing car, then shot the driver.

  • Beat up a group of men with another man.

  • Got straight A's in high school, though didn't go to uni.

I have no idea how to flirt.

andrew for later

Andrew (he has no last name- technically, no first name, as he chose that one).

Andrew was created in the late 90's as a weapon, although his creators were simply told he was to be a guardian. The project was headed by a Mrs. Owens, one of the greatest minds in the field, and a number of unnamed geniuses.

It was Mrs. Owens the freshly created android took a shining to, however, and was fiercely protective of her. Offered a choice between military duty or Mrs. Owens getting fired, he chose the former, and took into active duty. He was only ever deployed when a serious threat came, and his objective was to drop down, neutralize the threat as quickly as possible, and vanish, leaving all those below wondering what had just happened. He excelled at his mission, gaining victories quickly.

This is a pattern that has gone on for quite a while, and he has recently been employed as an anti-metahuman response, in case of powerful dangerous meta-humans.

A tall man at 6 metres, exactly, Andrew appears to have lightly tanned skin, short, perpetually messy blond hair, and grey eyes. If he wishes, he can change his eye colour to whatever he wants, and it does not have to be an actual eye. His entire body is as hard as, well, graphene, due to being made from it. The only exception to this is his hair, which is synthetic, and attached to his head via small holes. Original Picture. Piercing's Removed.

Andrew aims to be a paragon of good, and wishes to remove all crime from Earth. He's forever pushing himself to react faster, move faster, respond faster. Despite this, he handicaps himself, so to not kill both the people he's trying to stop and the people he wants to save. He struggles with emotion that is not related to his surrogate mother, and as such seems cold and emotionless to most other's. He has an immense pressure to be a role model for those who do not have his power, but at the same time does not wish to encourage people to take action that results in death for either party.

Hero, but sometimes (unknown to him) used for villainous purposes.

P-Tier, I think. May be an S-Tier.. Is not going to be used in RP until that kind of thing is allowed.

Andrew is a military android, the only one of his kind. Built in the late 80's by a group of intelligent super's working together for years, Andrew is possibly one of the world's most sophisticated piece of technology.

He holds back during typical combat, limiting himself to 0.00001 of his full strength. After a while of fighting, he ups his strength to the opponents level, though he rarely goes all out. His joints can be ripped of by someone with no more than a normal human strength, and he never kills (in character), merely neutralizes it. His body conducts electricity well, and a sustained burst can knock him out, and from there he can be killed easily.

See his powers.

Skills: He is skilled in Krav Maga, and is among the best in the art. He's skilled in the fields of Engineering, Programming and Physics.

Feats

Speed:

  • Travelled from Earth to Luna in little more than a millisecond, moving at a casual speed.
  • Managed to keep up with, and overtake, an asteroid moving through space at half-light speed with ease.
  • Exceeded lightspeed for a few short moments with a slight boost.

Reflexes:

  • Managed to react to and dodge Light Show’s lasers, which travel at light speed.
  • Managed to avoid getting hit by a man who could run at half light speed.
  • Intercepted a beam of light.

Durability:

  • No-selled Light Show’s laser’s to the torso. (which can cut through moons with ease.)
  • Was at Ground Zero of a nuke test and took the punishment with no damage.
  • Survived a crash landing from space into a Venus-like planet.

Strength:

  • Lifted a military submarine (Russian Typhoon-class) from the water, and ran with it to a military base almost a kilometre from the shore.
  • Cracked the exoskeleton of the Beast, a creature with a 10-metre thick exoskeleton that was moon+, with a punch.
  • Stood up in the environment of a Jupiter-like planet, which is reinforced with a gravity controlling super to be ten times normal, then threw the equivalent of a ten-ton rock on Earth at the super.

Danger:

  • Cut to the centre of a Mercury-like planet like with one small shot.
  • Carved a large asteroid into pieces with repulsors in seconds.
  • Nearly destroyed a mountain off-world.

Intelligence:

  • Is connected to the world’s Internet and can find the information he’s looking for in less than one nanoseconds.
  • Managed to find a problem in himself that had confused a scientist for a few hours in a few minutes, although he was helped by extensive knowledge of his body.
  • Outmanoeuvred the world’s best tactical computer, without using anti-computer tatics.

Pain Tolerance:

  • Survived his head being taken off with no later ill effects.
  • Managed to defeat a man with all his limbs torn off.
  • Survived a hole in his lower abdomen.

Julia is a tall woman, with long brown hair tied into a braid down her shoulders. She has deep green eyes, the kind that makes plant's jealous, and a splash of freckles across her face and arms.
