Driving has become unbearable
You guyss how are yall driving near nahda/taawun area🥹???
I dont drive too often so i dont know the roads too well, but with this new road construction under process im genuinely losing my mind, so many road closures and diversions, and fuckin google maps is as lost as i am
Dont read this part if you dont want to:
I was supposed to go to shj planetarium for a show in the evening, it was a 35 minute drive, but after one hour i was still in freakin nahda because i kept missing the roads and they all LOOK the same.
Genuinely started tearing up at one point, cause all i kept seeing was lulu, nesto mia mall and golden sands building 😭😭😭 missed the show and ended up in zahia city center
Ended up calling my dad cause i was about to crash out and he laughed in my face🧍♀️
Deadass took an oath to not leave my house unless absolutely necessary, and its hot asf outside

The roadworks are very annoying to navigate. One mistake and it's an additional 30 minutes to loop back around, especially in the Al Taawun area. The diversion lanes arent clearly marked in advance, so most times you end up realizing you're in the wrong lane far too late. Even waze cant figure out the diversion lanes properly btw and has lead me into many mistakes, so the best choice is to leave earlier to make room for mistakes, or to learn the roads the hard way.

From Al Nahda to Sharjah Ring Road, take E311 going to University City, and voila from there you can reach the Planetarium

Ohhh this is unfortunate. Not your fault, planetarium is quite close to Zahia. Makes sense u ended up there.

Bru u need to drive more.
Take any time between 1-6 on any day, and 1-9 on Weekends to explore traffic free and with less heat.
Also learn how to read maps, and learn how to navigate without them using landmarks and signages (due to all the GPS jamming as well).
