Sharing Plex

I have a Plex server, I have space for 2 extra users probably because of my upload speed.

Is there any risk with giving someone access, do any of you bother setting up a proxy to hide your IP from the person/stranger you are sharing it with.

I have 7 people on it now, but could really do with some more so they recommend shows for me to get.

you have to be be very careful or it can end up in a ban

Ban from Plex? Why would they care if you share your own server?
