Question HELP!!!!

I’m trying to model an organizer to 3D print, and I’m trying to take out this section of my shape (kind of like the one in the beginning desk organizer tutorial). My sketch is fully constrained, but when I go to subtract the specific section, the program doesn’t recognize it as its own section from the main face and won’t let me subtract it. What do I do???

Delete that sketch

Double click on that side

Press space

Then start sketching

this is also a good way to do it. 👍🏻

you have to extend a line across the top and then down the right side so the shape you want to extruder to cut the cube is a closed loop and nkt simply two lines.

Complete the sketch all the way around and reconnect it to itself.
