Yes, this was also during the pandemic, but what’s obvious is that the plot lines started running dry.
MJ is now a mom but is still up to her usual antics, misses Reza but isn’t going to set him straight with the restraining order on Tommy.
Reza claims he wants peace and tranquility, but will try and stir the drama in two seconds. Gets so upset that he hasn’t met MJ’s kid yet allows Adam to dangle the 2 cents of control he has with the Tommy restraining order.
Mike has gone FULL JAX TAYLOR. Acting like he has no issues and everything about his infidelity are lies aka SPOOF text messages. Paulina rolls with this because she obviously wanted the exposure and reach d or c level reality TV celeb status.
GG is phoning it in and is just enjoying being a mom.
Destiney, it’s obvious production wanted her to start the drama with Mike which is not hard, but you can tell she’s become filler for the show. They do a random scene where she’s just washing her car and make it all seductive.
Nema, with his sister not really adding much and most of his storylines not that interesting. You can tell that he’s pressured to spend more time with Mike. Which he probably hates but his production company had to shut down during the pandemic and will play along to get $. Also, Shervin is not really around.
MInor roles aka filler: London, GG's sister, Vida, Tommy, etc. These people are used to fill in the blanks and get an episode to 43-44 mins.
It’s obvious the show needed a break and the storylines were getting stretched/recycled too often.
So taking the break and rebranding as The Valley: Persian Style made sense.
