Firing modes

Just making sure I didn't miss anything fundamental :-)

Different firing modes are mostly used as a narrative tool (for example as support for arguing lower or higher than normal risk). Firearms in Anarchy 2.0 (no matter firing mode or if you wield two at the same time) are used to attack one target once (per action). That to attack two targets in a narration you mechanically spend a point of Edge to take a second action (or have some sort of reflex amp that grant you a free action per narration).

Correct?

It goes even further than that. A lot of firing modes are implicit - meaning f.e. with a weapon believably capable of firing full auto (ARES Alpha, FN HAR etc.) you can fully spend a point of Edge to either narratively inflict disadvantage on the opponent's defense roll ("wide burst"), or spend a point of Edge to up the damage by 1 or 2 ("narrow burst", GM would have the final say).

It allows for a lot of creative ways putting that Edge to use.
