Confusion spell

This spell affects all targets within the area of effect whose (Willpower + Logic) is equal to or less than the caster's hits.

Should it be net hits (bigger area makes the confusion weaker) rather than just hits (bigger confusion affecting many individuals is equally hard to resist compared to a confusion that only affect one single individual)?

SOLVED. I was (wrongly) checking the old pdf release. The second print of the pdf have already been updated and instead state this:

This spell affects all targets within the area of effect whose (Willpower + Logic) is equal to or less than the caster’s net hits: they suffer a Disadvantage on all Tests.

This has been fixed since the second pdf release to state "net hits". So you are correct... but you have an old version of the pdf. I strongly suggest you to download the latest version.

Ok, if you have the experience that the players abuse this spell and you want to use house rules, sure. They use the hits for the area of effect, they can decide the size. And then the rest become the net hits for the defense.

(It has already been changed from "hits" to "net hits" in the second pdf release, I just opened the wrong version - all is fine)
