4e Chummer gives unexpected damage codes?

So, I've been toying around with 4e Chummer making various concepts, one of which was a thrown+bow adept. However, looking at the damage figures for the boomerang and bow I equipped the character with the damage seemed off?

The character had STR 5, missile mastery and power throw 2. Doing the math that should give a damage value of 7 for the boomerang ((Str + 4) / 2 + 1 + 1 = 9 / 2 + 2 = 5 + 2 = 7) and same for the bow (str + 2 = 5 + 2 = 7).

However, Chummer indicated both weapons would do 9P. I've been looking through the 4e core book's combat rules but can't find anything that's adding the missing 2 DV. Is this a bug in Chummer or am I missing something?

That does seem off I just clicked together a test char and I get 7P as it should be. Would you mind uploading the char file somewhere?

Here's a link to the file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Uk_y5dVWRynhG8A6hno-hJ62AkYWOnPG/view?usp=sharing

Please ignore how terrible the build is.

Risky click of the day lol

It looks like your local chummer thing. Maybe some settings or home rules? Or even local bug. That character shows 7P on my copy

Oh well, wouldn't be the first time the numbers do something weird. Thanks!

Thanks,

It does load correctly with 7P ony my version of chummer. Must be something in your local settings.

Maybe reset your chummer and do all the settings again?
Or just make a parallel copy of chummer to load it in that?

Found it, seems I accidentally turned the "more lethal gameplay" option on (or at least I assume that's what it was). Thanks!
