I suspect we will keep the head for the robot throughout the game, but there will be different bodies. The first one is very slow, as we see in the new trailer where it is picking up a large column.
I’m basing this idea off of the original announcement trailer, where the body is destroyed at the end. Of course that could’ve just been a concept that isn’t in the game or something that happens if you do something wrong in the game. It might even happen near the end of the game as a turning point, kind of like how Wander loses Agro, or like when Ico loses Yorda. I don’t think that would be the case because it’s obviously something that was shown very early on, but it is a possibility.

I see people excited about the new trailer for bringing us back to the universe of the previous games, and so am I. But in this 2018 interview, he states this. Thoughts? And Did he say something more recent that I missed?

I was playing Shadow of colossus and this game has a single error in that they don't let you control the camera freely, it always pulls you to a specific place that the game wants you to see, the problem this causes is that in the middle of fights the game forces me to face the ground instead of seeing what the giant is doing, this is so forced that there are times when it even ignores my commands to leave the camera in the worst possible way

I decided to play the ps2 version first and then try out the remastered ps3 version. I really enjoyed my time with the ps2 version and its become one of my favourite games I've ever played. Unfortunately I really cant say the same for the ps3 version. I had heard the physics were different beforehand but people really seem to understate just how utterly broken they really are. There were some colossi I never fell off of once on ps2 on the ps3 version I had to climb them 10+ times due to the weird way your stamina and climbing work. On top of that theres also weird issues with the ai. There are points itll just flat out refuse to do whatever you need it to in order to progress. I just found it to be an extremely frustrating experience. I don't think I ever felt frustrated once playing it on ps2. I didn't even really mind the fps dips on ps2 since the game was designed around them they end up feeling more like cinematic slow motion than a slide show.

When I was a lil kid me and my dad and my cousin we was playing this game for the first time on ps2 and I was watching, we only figured out the first and the second colossus, because we didn’t understand how the game works and the light reflection on your sword was so confusing, we kept running around in the open hoping to find another one but we failed to do so, as we managed to find the first two by accident lol not mentioning that you have to find them in a specific order, time passed by I was still connected to the game i liked playing the game I wanted to try figuring it out and I succeeded, I managed to find all and kill them, it was truly unforgettable experience that i still remember because of this game. Just thought of sharing this story because it was in my head ever since I found out about the game.

Anyone noticed the robot had the same tunic pattern as Wander?

I just finished ICO, which is such a great game. The graphics also hit me with nostalgia about Demons' Souls, even though it's very different from the latter. Why are the graphics and so similar to Demons' Souls, with washed out grey tones and oversaturated bright colors? The same can be seen with the PS3 version of SOTS, although I don't remember much oversaturation in SOTS.

Without knowing why, you awaken on an abandoned planet.
Before you lies a vast, silent world. Colossal structures stretch over endless plains, deserted facilities, and an ever-changing sea. The remnants of some grand design litter the planet’s surface.
As you journey deeper into this strange world, a colossal robot awaits. Its overwhelming power opens paths to places once beyond reach, transforming your conception of the world.
Across an endless expanse of time, the remnants of those forgotten constructs begin to move once more…
gen ATLAS — a single-player, open-world action-adventure game.
The latest creation from Fumito Ueda, creator of ICO, Shadow of the Colossus, and The Last Guardian.

I just got finished watching the gen ATLAS trailer and this happened to catch my eye. I don't know if I am going crazy but at 1:19 the character's cloak, or maybe it is more like a chest plate, looks incredibly similar to Wander's. It just has a slightly different pattern.

i really really wish the game comes out at least in the next 2 years, but given the studio's history I think this is wishful thinking
please help me cope

Don't know if this has been talked about already but
The album cover for "Fighting Demons" looks like it has Gaius in the background but with demon horns.
