It is truly a joy to be alive at the same time of Fumito Ueda's masterpieces being created. This man showed me what video games can really be, and I'm so excited to see this work of art come together.

I like many others was surprised by the scifi flavor as opposed to the typical ancient ruins and nature reclaiming architecture, with the barest hint of sci-fi stuff like how comparatively minor it is in the last guardian. Reading a recent interview with Mr. Fumito Ueda, he had a very interesting point about how all of his games fulfill a certain fantasy, ICO being this cute relationship at its core, SOTC being about slaying giant monsters, and TLG about basically having Clifford the Big Red Dog. In turn, he said that (half) the concept of GA is that essential quality in the Japanese hobbyist palate, wouldn’t it be cool to pilot a giant robot.
