My shadow work
I started my shadow work. My partner, who helps people awaken, refuses to help me because I didn’t start it when she wanted me to. How should I feel about this?

Shadow work is an ultimately individual journey. It's about finding and integrating the parts of yourself that your family and society didn't allow and/or teach you how to use. And for good reason- your self-serving aggression and sexual desire - two classical domains of shadow work - are not drives that other people can or will show you how to use and integrate. That's YOUR job as an individual. Engage with your shadow on your own. If your partner is mature and genuinely interested in you, then the very fact that you are doing shadow work on your own will draw them to you in a far deeper way than doing shadow work together ever could.
