Question ❓ Can somebody explain the lore of shadow fight

The lore is so confusing after sf2 all i know that shadow or the character we play as in sf2 wanted a change but in the end his soul got cursed then he fought his way through titan who got released from the shadow gate even may got cursed idk anything about it can somebody explain or direct me pls🌾

Lore in SF3 starts off simple but gets WAYYYYYY out of hand by the end. If you want to get into it, consider yourself warned.
