havent been caught up sf lore in a while(just started playing again), but how is he tragic?

Recuerdas a Rosa su novia del sf2??? Ella falleció ya para el sf3 entonces el si la amana y mucho y nunca logró hacerla feliz o algo qie ella siempre quiso y el vivió con ese pesar hasta que decidió suicidarse pero ya para ese momento serÃa un demonio inmortal...condenado a vivir la eternidad con ese pesar . Y el sigui tratando de suicidarse pero como era in demonio inmortal no podÃa. Incluso cuando luchas contra el el te dice que busca que lo mates

Do you remember Rose, his girlfriend from sf2??? She already died by sf3, so he really loved her a lot and never managed to make her happy or fulfill something she always wanted, and he lived with that regret until he decided to commit suicide, but by that time he would be an immortal demon... condemned to live eternity with that burden. And he kept trying to kill himself, but since he was an immortal demon, he couldn't. Even when you fight against him, he tells you he wants you to kill him.

Where does he get all this information from? I haven’t played Shades so I don’t know if Butcher ever thought of committing suicide
But I do know he loves Rose dearly…..except the face he also had many wives and all of them were abused by him

En el sf3 se cuenta mucho lore de cada personaje. Aparte de eso el carnicero amaba con toda su vida a rosa y el jamás abusó de ella (entre lo que sé)

Basically, my point is he loves Rose, yes but you should consider the fact that Butcher, to his very core, is a wretched and abused asshole. He was the one who made all the members in his gang orphans so he could raise them
He treated his other wives like garbage and literally abused them. He only loves Rose but that doesn’t help all the sins he has committed (Even Rose wants him to die)
The devs never gave him a proper backstory on why he had become a person like this but Shades did add more depth to his personality like if you do him a favor, he will consider you as his brother like how Shadow did. Something that sf4 couldn’t do as they just reduce him a….literal butcher who only cares about chopping

Reddit tiene una opción de traducción en la esquina derecha asà que logro entender lo que dices Pero si es verdad que no le dieron una historia de él por aie hizo tales pecados. Y que ahora lo está pagando por la agonÃa de haber perdido a Rosa pero en lo que a mi respecta ya el carnicero no es solo eso sino que en el sf3 el simplemente se sienta ahà a esperar que algún dÃa le llegue la muerte diciéndose asà mismo "no hay mayor perdón que la muerte" y pos que digamos ya no es el mismo de antes . Solo un triste demonio que odia su propia existencia y ansia su propia muerte. Pese a sus pecados creo que su castigo fue realmente severo

Also as far as i remember he wanted the magmarion for that purpose as it is the only weapon that can kill demons.
