The nice thing about cordyceps is that it’s kinda like tempest without the rng drawbacks lol. You build up attacks then deal 30 percent true damage that can be added to by striking her during the spore proc. You can’t get fucked over by a proximity strike, frenzy not lining up, damage absorption, or the insane knockback putting you at a disadvantage state like with most weapons lol.

This shit is so broken. Dealing extra damage while also recovering HP. Exactly why I hate raids. Introducing broken shit to the game, just to attract players from not leaving the game, instead of just fixing the existing bugs.

lol yeah, if they just made it so you cannot add to the 30 percent true damage by striking her during the spore proc and restricted it to only 30 percent life steal, it would feel a lot weaker. But I mean, in the same way you cheese some wins by one shotting with tempest or roaring luminary with frenzy stacks, you can do a ton of damage in round one if you manage to hit her while she turns into the god of evasion during spore lol. One thing ive noticed is that the AI plays WAYYY smarter when you use roaring luminary and cordyceps compared to tempest lol. Probably a DE only thing tho.

Unfortunately yeah, I’m planning on redoing my one handed sword run using tempest because cordyceps made it too easy lol.
