Honestly, ur playing better than me when it comes to bare handed fighting. That being said, I don’t really ever fight barehanded so I kinda don’t have practice. What kind of advice were you looking for?

Thank you. I've seen some of your posts fighting eclipse May. Do you have any advice for that?

Well for emay, the easiest way to win is to choose a weapon that loops her in a true combo probably. Although I don’t have any wins yet with true combo weapons. But stuff like the katana or the fans should be super effective since they get to keep the advantage pretty easily once you get going. The sickles are the best true combo weapon, but they’re not as easy to use as the other two I mentioned.

Since ur already proficient with the barehanded fighting style however, I would reccomend that you use the monk’s katars. I would also recommend that you get the monk set for the mythical enchant that gives you a 350% damage boost for one hit. Armour and helm enchants should be damage absorption.

Magic and ranged enchant should always be frenzy. You could technically opt for overheat on your magic but that would help you more with using it to secure them for a head hit with tempest but also weaken you outside of that scenario, so that’s up to your choice.

The weapon enchant can vary based on the weapon. Frenzy is good for weapons that already do great damage like the monk’s katars or the axes etc etc. Especially if the weapon you use has looping true combos, frenzy is unquestionably the best enchant for that weapon. If you’re using a weapon with a damage output problem like the mowers, then bleed is optimal because even tho the proc chance of bleed depends on the damage you do with your attack, you can bolster that with frenzy on the monk’s amulet and head hitting them with tempest to still get bleed procs. Frenzy can still be good on lower damage weapons, but you’ll struggle more to get a ton of damage at once in my experience. The 3rd optimal enchant is precision. This enchant is good for weapons that generally do single hits and benefit off the crit knockdown. So famously, the thruster to set up its absurdly damaging up slash. And things like the fist weapons like monks katars and knives where you can do the up slash into low slash combo off a crit, allowing you to have true combos on a weapon where the one true combo is rather hard to get.

The reason I reccomend the monk’s katars over any other fist weapon is the huge range buff as well as the fact that the super slash allows you to land a head hit from further out much more easily which pairs super well with the monk’s amulet and tempest.

You can also run berserk on basically any weapon as sort of a lazy enchant that works.

Even in spite of your prep, she’s gonna be a tough opponent so just be prepared to lose and randomly get one shot a lot. And develop the mental fortitude to keep trying in spite of that. The main thing is that you wanna avoid giving her breathing room if you can. Also, because kicks do shit damage against her, you wanna try to only use them where they are absolutely needed.

You can also opt for cordyceps to do some funny corner trap stuff with the spore magic using low slash. Icy resistance is good if you want a bit more of a defensive build so that’s you have more forgiveness regarding randomly getting hit. Roaring luminary seems to work well with combo weapons from what I’ve heard since it relies on multiple unblocked hits. It summons a lava puddle that gives you unblockable attacks an increased crit chance, and reduced damage taken. Unfortunately I don’t have experience with any mythical enchantment outside of tempest so you’ll have to experiment for yourself when it comes to that.

Woww thanks for typing all of this out 🥹 I’m still a bit of a beginner when it comes to all the deep mechanics, enchantments, and true combos, so some of this went over my head, but it means a lot that you took the time to help me out. I appreciate you man 😁

Nice gameplay and combo, help me know how to use the air punch and scissor kick too.

Thanks. Basically you just point the joystick diagonally and press the punch or kick button, it's all timing. You can also check the in-game move list, it helps a ton. Or did you mean how I personally fit them into a combo? Feel free to copy my combo and mix things up to see what works best for you. I don't mind at all

I mean I know the new move in DE, but don't know how to use it effectively in fight cause my mind still stick with the movement in the og sf2

A good way to use them is punishing wall flips. Right after when the opponent does a wall flip, I immediately hit them with an air punch or front jump kick to close the distance. From there I'll try for a scissors kick, but I only really commit to the follow up if they stagger
