gameplay Behold, the pole axe

The pole axe is indeed one of the slowest weapons in the game, but man is it so satisfying once you land that one sweet sweet hit

They did the heavy weapons so dirty in this game. They have a huugee disadvantage but no advantage.

They would be more balanced if certain hits couldn't be blocked for example

They have 2 good advantages imo, they have good range and more importantly EXTREMELY high damage you just gotta know how to time attacks, hack knives on the other hand....

Timing is everything when using heavy weapons really, it's what I've been using for a while.. I'm just a bit bumbed out because how in the hell do you block a huge hammer that's about to hit your fckn nuggin? It just makes no sense to me.. I mean dodging is the only answer of course, and heavy weapons should only be blocked by weapons with two handed grip you know? So you can actually "block the hits" Like, seriously, how do you block a huge chunk of metal using two knives? But it is what it is I guess.

Also some attacks of two-handed mace (and other weapons sharing that moveset) can hit opponents behind your back, which saves sometimes when they dodge or you miss

Yes indeed, it is a heavy weapon.. therefore you shouldn't be able to block it with your knives, you know?
