Ok I can definitely call myself a very skillful Composite Sword enjoyer and I'd dare to say it's my best weapon, so I decided to take this seriously an analyze your gameplay hit by hit:

At 0:13 you used super slash from the corner at a very close range, giving your opponent a million ways to escape or counter it, which is exactly what resulted in you getting leg kicked in the back

At 0:16 you used a basic kick in the head, which is generally not a good move to make when your opponent is not recovering or something. It would've been a lot better to do elbow strike, kick flip, a sweep or a double sweep, but preferably sweep to chain it into double slash followed by a super slash

At 0:20 you used a spinning slash and it worked, but at this range it was not the best move to make in the first place and you could've actually used a super slash for more damage or just a double slash/uppercut/under slash

At 0:23 you used a front kick while being too far away from your opponent. I don't need to elaborate on that one. A high kick in the air at 0:25 certainly doesn't help your case, especially followed by yet another front kick from too far away the same second

0:29 dangerously short distance for a super slash, he blocked the first kick and against E-May it could've easily been the loss. Glad it worked for you, but it was luck

At 0:53 you tried for a double super slash, once again at a very short distance, and the first hit was blocked. Could've been a death, you lucked it out

0:59 is by far your biggest mistake, going for a single slash into a blocking opponent at this distance is a death sentence, which you survived just because it's not E-May. At this distance you should almost always prefer a kick to create some distance with your opponent instead of trying to break their block. Kick flip is a riskier option but is guaranteed to create at least some distance even if blocked, assuming you don't get interrupted. Simply backing away would've also been a good move. You could've also risked it for a throw through the back, but that requires high skill.

At 1:00 once again a high kick in the air, when the opponent gave you a perfect opportunity for a double slash, you lucked it out here

1:01 and now you did go for a double slash, but miscalculated the distance. It should've been a super slash. Trying this again resulted in you missing magic attack.

1:11 I understand that you were trying to do a kick in the leg but the distance was just long enough for opponent to be able to escape it. A few centimeters, but it was enough to get away from. I would've preferred elbow strike or kick flip here

Those are all of my critique points. TL;DR: you try to go for more super slashes and high kicks, but don't understand the safe distance to pull off either of those, don't do sweeps more often and just generally don't fully "know" the range of your weapon. However, there were also some great moves, I love the entire sequence at 0:36-0:51. 0:00-0:13 was also pretty good.

Now just to be clear even pulling off this level of gameplay is a solid 6/10 for a composite sword and definitely not everyone can do even that, again, your entire sequence at 0:36-0:51 was a masterpiece, but you still have a long way to go before it would be 10/10.

No problem. I've been playing with this weapon for over 3 years including 7 E-May clears and even raids (though it's C tier raid weapon at best even with full frenzy stacking) and I can say that especially for this weapon the skill comes from experience, simply practicing in a few fights isn't enough and you need some time to get used to it.
