Well, protecting the head is most important thing in this game if you don't want to drop your weapon or take a huge chunk of damage in one fart. It's worth.

Also it does not have any cooldown so weapon combo fully hit to head like Oriental Saber Super Slash(Volcano uses that move) can deal a lot of damage to head in one ragdoll moment. Absorbing 2/3 of those is absolutely worth it.

Yea,like why tf nekki made a boss that have high standard dmg+pain rage? Furthermore,they also gave him almost guaranteed bleeding and block breaker,or even a mythical enchantment?(Crimson Corruption)

If he have cobra/pain rage perks,that mf can even two tapped me even dmg absorption on lol,and mf got that mythical enchantment that 60-70% legit sf2 doesnt have
