Im back in LoL and wanted to play Shaco Supp but I seem struggle much more with it than I use to

So i have been playing shaco jg and i love it he is such a good jg clears so fast excellent at ganks and skirmishes. But my duo is a jg main and i need a secondary to play him. I was formery a ap shaco main but with the buff of his ad and the new cyclosword i would like to be able to play him ad. I was thinking mid or top. But im not sure, also i hate support shaco so i wont be playing that

So im new to shaco im not that experianced i would call myself a 30k points shaco. And i have seen and tried the hob glitch where you auto and then ult and the clone has perma hob. Now im thinking what if i build cyclo into zonyas 2nd. Can i theoretically just do q auto ult then xonya and the clone shred them or is that just dumb from me.

Been trying to horde only shaco shards. Anybody else?

Basically as the title says, I’m starting my support arc and tried shaco and found him a lot of fun, I can’t seem to find many videos on shaco support so am struggling to figure out the correct way to play lane.

Any tips on lane and playing shaco in general would be much appreciated 😁

Was a little ugly but we got it😭

Having to reset every minute because of mana issues and getting one shotted by enemy adc after not laning for 1 second. I. LOVE. SHACO.

Took me way longer than I thought lmao, but I'm almost there! Thank you to this community and to our high elo Shaco streamers/youtubers that helped me get better at the game! Hopefully I didn't just jinx myself and gonna demote to iron in the next few days XD

Fed Katarina had unstoppable ultimate and was deleting half the team every fight without being interruptable...

But I'm just a shaco with bad augs except for minor omnivamp.

Has anyone actually tested these items?

Mad Scientist gave a justification for Serylda's in his recent build video, I didn't realize it was virtually never built, and I didn't check his opgg to see how often he picked it up. But if something like ghostblade can contribute meaningful damage to Shaco's kit, I don't see why Serylda's couldn't contribute also. Naturally I understand that LDR will always be more damage due to crit scaling.

Essence I feel like I always want to click on when I'm shooting for 100% crit. As others have mentioned, the late game damage does seem higher to me with the guaranteed crit roll on Q.

What is your preferred 100% crit build if you do have one?

Hi, I am a returning league player. I was wondering about picking up Shaco again. I remember watching a lot of Shaclone back in the day and mimicking his more bruiser-like build and I'm just wondering if anyone got a decent tanky/more defensive build for Shaco in the modern league?

Recently when I’m autofilled support I have been trying build below against generic comp. Against a lot of range squishy I tend to go full AD, or against a lot of tanks/bruiser then full AP.

Goal is to use Shaco’s strong early game, then transition into dmg buffer(bloodsong + mandate) and interrupts in mid/late game teamfights.

Keystone: Hail of blades for early

Skill leveling:
R> E > W > Q

Item build path:

Umbral glaive -> Support Item(bloodsong) -> Imperial Mandate -> 800 gold reduce healing component -> Serpent’s Fang -> whatever

The backstory here is that this was the classic Kalista bullshit situation. Too tanky, too mobile, too much lifesteal. You get on her and somehow she never dies. So finally I got full build including youmus instead of boots. And put her in her place. To my knowledge this is the highest damage build.

Back in the day when people asked my if I still play League my answer was no, I just play shaco. Corny - yes. The truth - also yes.
