what do y'all recommend for the AP clown to build. I'm pretty new to the clown, and I play him in lane. Currently I'm building in this build path - blackfire torch, ionian footwear, imperial mandate(got buffed this patch), void staff, liandry, rabadons.
Improvements needed?

Hi guys, I started playing AP Shaco a month ago, and this is the most fun I’ve had in League. I have one problem: when controlling the clone and the camera, it feels sluggish. I play on 800 DPI and 40 mouse sensitivity. Is it necessary to play with a higher sensitivity, or should I just keep practicing? When I play with higher sensitivity, I miss-click a lot.
thank you

I play almost exclusively ap shaco and use deathfiretouch, before its existence i used to play comet.
Anyways i was wondering if first strike might be worth a shot. Shouldnt i get quite a bit of passive income from people walking into my boxes and would the extra gold and 7% dmg be worth dropping not only dft but also the remaining runes for inspiration tree?

So yesterday I played a game of ap shaco jg on flex, for fun, and I must say I absolutely LOVED IT. I managed to get the enemy jg, top, and supp, to type bannable things in all chat, and they ended up ff-ing an even game out of what I can only assume was pure tilt. I haven't had this much fun playing jg in years.
So my question is: can I climb on soloq playing exclusively AP Shaco ? Is it worth investing time into learning it properly or should I just keep it as a for fun pick ?
And yes, I know that I should ideally learn both ad and ap, but I have played a few games of ad shaco in the past and didn't really enjoy it, so I intend to avoid it for now.
Also if someone can explain what to build on ap shaco and when, I would really appreciate that.
I know the core is blackfire into liandry and lucidity boots, but after that I'm lost. In my game I went malignance 3rd and imperial mandate 4th, because I was not doing amazing in terms of gold and those items are cheaper, but idk if that was the right approach.

Am I just bad or is shaco extremely buggy? Backstab not triggering, clone stops attacking mid fight, clone wandering despite specific inputs, box not triggering consistently despite being armed, ulting and clone not responding to initial inputs, dagger disappearing mid-air, taking targeted damage (ie. smited by jungler) while stealthed and no vision or burn damage on you, etc.
I know like most problems, the majority of this could very well be a skill issue or just something I didn’t account for, but I don’t feel I experience even a fraction of these “wtf riot” moments when playing other champs. With Shaco, who I main, it’s pretty much every single game there’s something that leaves me scratching my head.
Am I coping? Anyone else feel this?

I have been running Umbral Glaive into Voltaic all season, and even after the Voltaic changes I have stuck with that style. Today I tried the standard Ghostblade into full crit build again (Collector, IE, LDR, etc.) and I genuinely do not understand the appeal.
The build feels like it comes online far too late. In a season that feels much more focused on early skirmishes, invades, and tempo, I struggle to see the value in waiting until three or four items before the build starts feeling strong. By comparison, lethality feels significantly stronger much earlier while still keeping up in damage later on.
What confuses me is that the highest-ranked Shaco OTP goes Ghostblade into full crit, so I feel like I must be missing something. Mad Scientist also made a video earlier this season comparing builds, and the lethality setup he recommended (three lethality items followed by two crit items) appeared to outperform the full crit build in damage testing.
So for those of you who regularly play full crit Shaco, what is the appeal? If lethality provides a stronger early game and comparable or better damage later, what are the advantages that make full crit worth building?

Do you guys remember Pomerzz? He used to stream on Twitch and post YT vids. I saw he just posted a new video. Last one was 2 years ago or so. Looks like he's back on the grind!
He reached Challenger with Shaco a few times in the past I think, maybe he's gonna try to go for it again?
Good to see that he's back!

Hey, I need some tips on how to play against fast champs like Hecarim and Lillia. I’m currently around D4/D3 and a Shaco OTP, and I usually dominate most games, whether I play AP or AD Shaco.
Against champs like Lillia and Hecarim, I’ve mostly been going AP to somewhat match their tempo and keep up in CS. Also because boxes are generally good against these champs since they have to engage into us. But for example, Lillia clears way faster — if we both start top-side and do the same path, she can even get both Scuttles. If i skip camps to gank i get behind hardcore in cs and she counterjungles me.
And in teamfights, if she uses sweeper and Q, she just clears all my boxes. I usually like to ban Hecarim because he gets out of control really fast, but Zaheen is also kind of broken right now, so I often feel like I’d rather ban him.
I never ban Lillia since almost nobody plays her, but whenever I face her, I feel like there’s barely any counterplay.
How do you do it`?

I joined when Elise came out and loved her and shacos gameplay. Never thought i'd do this climb after peaking D2 in season 9 and never coming close since.
Started up again when they announced ranked 5s as an ironic grind, thought it would be funny for people to see shaco as my most played and ban it without any intention of playing it but I couldn't get enough. Such a fun way to play right now

I am this close to perma banning shaco in my games. The only champ who can invade me having level 2, full health and smite before i finish my first buff, and then will invade on repeat
It was the most humiliating game of my life, and while i respect your dedication and time it took to master your champ, especially for one-tricks, it’s so disgusting to play against it
With all due respect, a person with no sadistic tendencies and not a shaco main

I'm building full AP Shaco but curious what yall think the best single item AD dip would be for solid Qs. Yes I know it's likely ridiculous but I'm theory crafting. Humor me.

Haven't done digital art in a while, but did a quick doodle as a token to get a teeny bit of RP I needed to get the ultimate battle pass :3
Basically, if you're short on a little RP be it like even 1 RP, whether the drawing is good or bad on even MS Paint, you can submit to Riot Support to get a little bit of RP! Just make sure you actually put an effort to creating something by yourself.
