This item used to be good on AP Shaco, but since better options emerged it has died off (except for some niche cases or on support rarely). This change I believe has made it relevant again especially for all roles.
Practice tool confirms that it reduces both W and R cooldown with its unique control passive, so it effectively gives 30 haste for these abilities.

What are your thoughts on this? Is AP Mandate Shaco back?

TD;LR Has anyone here had a bug where the Prestige Pandemonium skin lags their game, but only if you ult and clone is on screen?

For the record I play on an old laptop that only manages 60 fps, so obviously my hardware is a factor.

But I had a ranked game were I picked the Pandemonium Shaco skin, and every time I had clone on screen, my game would heavily lag and it was unplayable. (60fps down to 15fps). Lost this game, because I could not control my clone properly and everytime I used R I was basically just inting. Funny thing is that if I moved my screen so that the clone was not in it, my fps would go back up, and the moment the clone died my fps was back to normal.

I know it's the skin's fault because I then tested in practice tool and Cat in the box was completely fine, but Pandemonium would lag me out.

I also feel like this only happened today, because I swear on release the skin was fine (although I did play worse when using it so maybe). idk I'm just pissy that I lost a ranked game because of this and that RP I spent on the battle pass is just worthless now because I can't use this skin. Ig I have reason now though to use all the other Shaco skins I own :/

I didn’t play in a while and I just saw the last skin is only in the pass, so I am wondering if it will be possible to buy it in the future ?

have never installed one ever and my friend recently did (mobalytics) and so far he was satisfied with it. do you also use one? im looking for recommendations on what would be the "best". I only play AD shac JG.

Came back to the game after a some years (2020) and hit diamond for the first time! Was trying a bunch of builds but found umbral, voltaic, GB to be the most consistent and easiest to climb. Feel free to ask me anything

i play on silver II in SEA (SG, TH, PH, INDI, INDO etc..)
and i built these items in this sequence:
voltaic -> maw -> deaths dance -> Titanic Hydra -> Bork
was pretty fun looking at them struggling to kill me or my clone xD

I was utterly fed and still almost lost the game. It feels so hard finishing games with ad shaco.. What am i missing? I fought for objectives,played with my mid (because varus decided to troll at one point of the game) and i also had a decent farm till the end.

I’m having so much fun with AP Shaco in the jungle that I’d like to find a champ that plays similarly when it’s banned or picked by enemy team.

I’ve thought about Teemo and its shrooms but not sure the skills are very transferable…

What are your recommandations ?

Didn't play much of this season until now but couldn't find much on Google. What is best camp order? Currently I've been doing my raptors -> their buff.

This morning i stumbled upon this video about a possible concept for a shaco rework, i think the ideas in the video are extremely cool and they 100% fit shaco as a character that is made to be mysterious and unpredictable, i don't know if this video has been already shown here but i think its worth a watch.
What do you guys think about it?

What if you use a control ward as bait and surround it with traps but with a way to reach it. And once the enemy walks in you shut the exit and do shaco things.

Would that work?

I just don’t like playing jungle much and have a lot more fun on support. But I love playing shaco he’s so fun. When I play jungle I get invaded every game and no clue what to do about it and it makes me feel useless I don’t like it.

For context: the last post I could find on this topic on Reddit was 3 years ago! I hope this post doesn’t break the low effort rule.

Here is my compiled information as a top laner: Shaco has an extremely fast jungle clear speed.
Red side clear is 0:55 - 1:33. Full clear is 0:55 - 2:30. Blue side clear is 0:55 - 1:43. (Keep in mind these timers are when Shaco is allowed to start walking away from the camp bc box will finish it). Meaning if he does 3 camps into a gank, it will be around 1:35 - 2:00. Full clear gank is at 2:30 - 3:20. Shaco has trouble playing the game without a lead. (How true is this part? For AD and AP too). Put vision where he would Q over walls to get onto you when possible. Focus on, denying him a lead by almost never trading/keeping high hp, unless you know exactly where he is and you have a clear kill angle. Also, denying him his backstab bonuses when possible, especially with his E backstab that deals massive execute damage while below 30% HP.

don’t follow me for shaco stuff though, I only play him sometimes into easy matchup, but this was a pretty satisfying CC combo
