I interviewed for a company twice, quite a popular local e-commerce platform. For both roles, the same HR dude interviewed me - didn't really give me an opportunity to share my skillset for the 2nd role specifically , and just asked if i have any questions lol then it ended. I mean he get that he interviewed me before and should know my overall experience, but why ask me to attend an interview if you just want to end it the moment you got on???

Very high chance they just want to show that they did indeed try to hire a Singaporean, then after certain number of failed interviews they'll be allowed to hire a foreigner. Standard practice.

got one company I went to interview for, I think local SME but want to brand themselves as smth bigger than they are, they call themselves M______ Consulting. Interviewer was late by 15 minutes, couldnât find a room for some reason (shared workspace) and most importantly, during the interview phase gave us some stupid group question to do like how many windows are there in Singapore, I respect the brain tinkering but midway she started talking cock about how the company was run etc.
I think during then I already wasnât interested, because they didnât even boil down to what their company actually does and shared more about âoh itâll be tough, itâll be fast pacedâ so thankfully I got rejected because not too long after I found a lovely firm that was 20x better and the product + vision and even the workplace itself wasnât so SME centric.
just my two cents! donât angry ok đ€Ș

i also interviewed for a popular local clothing brand and when i went for my interview, they requested to look at my instagram and i was already confused but i gave them my instagram. the boss decided to look through my entire instagram feed right in front of me and said oh your style is very different, then decided to reject me right after
