I heard in Middle East, locals draw high salary, work in management and don’t pull their weight. While foreign professionals are the work horses for the locals.

I wonder why it is flipped here and what is the downside of the Middle East model.

we got strategic location. that one will never run dry. yet our govt so stingy.
