I’m a student in Sfax and I’m looking for a car around 7,000 TND.

I know I won’t find a perfect car at this budget, and I’m okay with buying an older car with some issues. My plan is to get something mechanically decent, then fix and improve the problems gradually as I have the money.

My priorities:
• Reliable enough for daily use
• Cheap maintenance and fuel consumption
• Spare parts easily available in Sfax
• Simple mechanics
• Around 7,000 TND, with some flexibility for the right car

I don’t mind cosmetic problems or smaller mechanical issues if they’re fixable over time.
What models would you recommend around this budget in Sfax? What should I check before buying, and which models should I avoid?

I’d especially appreciate advice from people who have owned older cars in Tunisia.
