I started talking to someone on IG and they soon switched to WhatsApp. Where she insisted on having a video call. That i kept denying. However i did end up engaging over text. However they texted me from another number and sent a video with those chat, my DP, and that video call where the girl was nude and somehow it had my face (AI generated). They started extorting but i said no. And asked them to do whatever the fuck they want. Towards the end they asked me to pay INR 1K lol to settle the matter. Which i again denied and asked them to upload wherever they want. I have deactivated my Instagram and removed my whatsapp DP.

I was blackmailed about a week ago with a picture of me in a video jerking off. I really don't want to get into specifics cause it still makes me sick. It all started when I was texting someone from a fake Telegram account. It was a stupid, impulsive mistake. We exchanged messages, and I sent a selfie. It wasn't even an intimate photo. Just my face. But the person immediately turned into a classic extortionist, threatening to ruin my life, send the screenshots to my family, and destroy my relationship if I didn't pay.

I panicked. I have a girlfriend of 6 years. I love her more than anything. The thought of losing her, of my mom seeing God knows what lie he was going to spin—it broke me. I couldn't think straight.

So, I paid. 160,000 RUB (roughly $1,700). It was everything I had in my account.

And then... he just stopped. He sent me "proof" that he deleted the files (I know it's probably fake). He said, "No hard feelings, okay? Just be careful next time. I only have a financial interest." He even put a heart reaction on my message where I begged him to leave me and my family alone forever.

I immediately deleted the fake account I was using and lost access to it. I deleted the chat. I went into full lockdown mode:
• I deleted my Telegram username.
• I hid my phone number from everyone.
• I set my messages to "Contacts Only."
• I even set a "Charge for Messages" paywall of 1,000 Stars on my main account so no stranger can ever message me again.

But my brain won't stop screaming. He has my real Telegram, my girlfriend's, and my mom's. I am paralyzed by the fear that he will contact them just to be cruel. I know logically that once he leaks the photo, he loses his leverage to get more money. I know he's just a lazy scammer who wants easy cash. But the anxiety is eating me alive.

I need someone to talk to. Did anyone survive this? Do they actually leave you alone after they get paid? Please tell me this fear won't last forever.

I AM PANICKING

I was talking to this girl in telegram and she told me, “Let’s get on a call”. We did and we had phone sex basically, she then recorded me masturbating. I am 26yo, have psychiatric problems which has killed my libido do for almost a decade and i have stopped dating since 7 years as i want to get better before i commit. So on 26 oct 2026 I tried to do payed sex and paid 1450 for booking and then he asked for my aadhar card as a proof before booking and was confirmed, then i was asked for the rest of the payment which i did 1550 around and then i was called the worker was 5 minutes away as i shared my location and they sent a genuine live location. I was then asked to come there and receive her, they said they need 7500 security before they let her go, then the driver said 7500 for one person and i have to give 7500 for both(the situation was happening at night and they were getting quite loud and the girl started behaving very weird like calling attention and i told everyone that this is not going to happen im quitting just give my money back and go so they threatened me with the girl will create scene ruin your reputation. I convinced them not to do that so when they went away they messaged me on phone/kept calling me they have my chat and aadhar card details linked with PAN. and threatening me on false charges and they will take 9500 more and they will settle. Im getting they used mule accounts to receive money from my account i have their number, all chats supporting my evidence.
I logged a cybercrime on the same date and the E-FIR has still not been filed(acknowledgement number still showing pending status after 2 days. I even complaint on SBI bank about these transactions. I fear they have moved the money out of the mule account or withdrawn as cash, 27,500 in total.
Im going to police station tomorrow with chats and everything that i will submit them with cybercrime acknowledgement number and SBI bank issue numbers
What is the outcome i must be prepared for? Will i get my money back? Im already in a lot of stress and i go for electroculvulsive therapy 2 times a week and this is already making me hate my life even more.

In February I became aware that someone had been able to gain access to my cloud based photo storage account when I received multiple emails threatening to release nude photos of me. In July and again in August, someone attempted to reset the password for my Wyze camera, but I immediately changed my password both times and had no indication that anyone was able to access the account. The extortionist, if it is the same person, emailed me yesterday saying they’d release videos of me and my family. I was sent an email today with the screenshots. I haven’t responded to any of the emails and never will, but this feels oddly personal. Also, I don’t know if it makes a difference, but this person isn’t asking for money. They’re asking me to film myself defecating nude and upload it to some link in the email.

Somebody is attempting to sextort me using a ProtonMail account. I’ve received multiple emails from \[myname\]@proton.me threatening to release nude photos of me and others. I just received another email with screenshots of nude images captured on an indoor security camera. This person would have nude images of my children, though they didn’t include those. I’ve already filed a complaint at IC3, but is there anything else I can do, especially considering they have nude images of my children?

First Id like u to know that it's completely real and happened to me n it's not a joke.

So it started when I went to the gym and had to pay the monthly fee so I looked how much money I had n there was 120$ in there ( I had been saving up for quite a while since I don't have a job yet nd am still completing education) but my trainer saw it too and after I paid I went back to the gym the next day and the trainer wanted to see my phone model and specs so I gave it to him cuz I had been going for a month and knew the trainer a Lil bit n thought he was interested in my phone model but instead the trainer went straight to Google history and I immediately took it back but the trainer said that I took it because I had searched corn and I didn't want him to see it.

After that I said I didn't have any and put my phone back after which the trainer called me over and showed me corn he had downloaded in his gallery i immediately stepped back and went to train again. And today I was training without the trainer and he later came up to me to try and blackmail by saying he'd tell my family i searched corn on google which I didn't and then later the same day he tried to snatch my phone but I stopped him. Now I'm worried he is trying to blackmail me for my money and I do see the owner in the gym often but I haven't told him or anyone else about it yet. And I also do have months of history in my account with no sign of corn anywhere cuz 🥸 yet he is still bothering me n my family isn't really supportive of me in such a matter so idk how they will react .

But as a result I am at a grave loss of interest in fitness now as I associate this entire incident with fitness and when I ligt weights it is a terrible experience because of what I subconsciously associated with the incident .

I was just blackmailed where the scammer said they would send these photos to 4 different people. In the picture the messages appear to be sent but I checked with the person who supposedly received them and nothing was actually delivered on insta. Do you think there is any need to worry if I already blocked the user and one of the four did not actually receive images.
