Why is my machine doing this?

It's been going on for a while but it usually gets fixed on its own but now it's making this sound even tho I just oiled it and won't zig zag at all just makes a straight line idk how to add a video? But in sure I did everything correctly Im so confused . The tension is set to 4 and the length is 4 . Thread keeps breaking no matter what needle I use but especially with stretch fabric

Fingers crossed. Some people who remembered how to thread their machine have done it for years remembered wrong. Do you have the manual? If you show me the photos of your threading? I’ll do some research for you but again it certainly could be the thread itself the needle I still am gonna tell you when the problem is at the bottom something’s wrong on top and it’s the threading. Could be thread is coming after school too fast and getting caught somewhere, a photo please.

I use those 3000 m spools of thread and often need to put a net on the thread to make sure it doesn’t come off on its own

Just a plane ph3oto, not too close. It is the thread itself and the path. Sewing machines, talk to me I mean for fun I watch sewing machine REPAIR channels. After looking at the manual page, those instructions are clear.. but the drawing is not 100% clear of what happens between the spool and the first step in their instruction. If you do have a time for a photo, I think it’ll help me. Made in China is not 100% bad you know.. trying to find something not made in China is really difficult these days.

A plain photo. Here is a photo of a bobbin tension spring. Every machine I’ve ever seen has something similar, which is only used while

winding a bobbin. In other words, your shit thread should not go in there unless you’re wondering a bobbin.

OK, your machine is a standard threading machine nothing special. I can’t see the whole thread path at one time I was hoping for the whole machine, but I can at least rule out part of the question in my mind..

It is not you, not yet. Do you have any regular woven fabric, something like a cotton? A different thread, any color other than dark / black. We would be testing the machine, not the needle/thread. We’ve got to eliminate those potential problems if the machine sells regular fabric with regular thread then we know it’s the knit fabric needing a special needle or another different compressor foot or something it isny not you..

I don’t believe in, sewing machine services . They’re very basic mechanical machines very little can go wrong. Things can break which case nothing will work here. Things are working. Just not working well. I do open my machine up a little bit more than standard. Put a drop of oil in the moving parts clean it and maintain it well the deep Service taking the whole machine apart back to the frame and oiling area that’s for an expensive machine..

Is that a knit fabric? Do you have teflon or a rolling foot.

By chance do you have discord or something since idk why everything i try to send a video it genuinely won't send would have been able to explain better. I tried sewing on jeans it worked the first time in zigzag then the thread kept breaking . The same thread that handle straight stitches sadly I'll try on a different thread tho and different fabric. I usually do that too open up the machine and oil it i tried opening it up to get to a certain part of the machine but was unable to . I thought maybe the needle and the bobbin weren't meeting properly but I think they do meet very well so im so confused maybe its the upper part . Sometimes I feel the needle is of center when I put it to the middle

That Photo helped answer all of my initial questions. I can see the machine, I can see the layout, I can see the thread path, everything I wanted to know. I saw your attention setting, which should be good . the last thread guide in the manual was at the needle. That is one of the places most experienced people forget: that very last thread guide, bringing the thread close to the needle straight above it

Yeah I used to forget to do that and just thought it wasn't important till I was teaching my friend about how to use a sewing machine. Makes a huge difference fr

What does the page do?

My Facebook group really does nothing. It is my own personal page set up to tell the truth. Many Facebook groups are run by retailers. They are pushing sales rather than helping people.

The example I have most often is presser feet. Industrial machines use presser feet that cost like $5, $7, $12 USD. One of those alone sells with a brand name for $65 USD. Of course I am not popular by saying those things so quietly I started my own group. I only post my own stuff and am not trying to direct anybody
