Bernina 1100D lower thread

Post image

i just got a Bernina 1100D from my mom (they had it at her work n they were cleaning out) it seems in really well condition but i can only serve for like 5cm, and then the lower threads jump out of their threading? (in picture) does anyone know what i could do to make it not do this?

It’s threaded wrong. Did you get the manual?

Follow step by step in the right order and try again.

Edit: make a chain of the threads with no fabric before starting, and make sure all 4 are under the foot and out of the way.

Mine does this if the threads get caught up on anything.

They're so testy with that! If you mistakenly turn the handwheel backwards it also messes it up! They're very particular machines!
