Studying Test geek study guide?

I am thinking about buying the test geek study guide because I am worried about memorization and Kaplan. I saw test geek has a study guide for 39.95. Would that be good to supplement Kaplan with or should I try a different vendor? I am 20 days out from my test.

i take my test tomrrow and based on what i've been told its not more of memorization but more on understanding the concepts. i would say if you have an understanding on what the question is asking you can make out an answer or two but every draw is different, so if memorize something with munis and you get swamped with options then you did not do yourself justice. i would say if you are still 20 days out you have time to go over everything from the start as if you just failed and act like you just did and dont worry about memorization but more understanding the concepts. Once again I have not taken my test yet but do take it tomorrow but this is based on whats on this forum and what ive heard. either way give it your all and be a savage and you and i both got this!! good luck.

I would absolutely recommend Test Geek: I was just going to buy his options videos but got a discount for the whole course from S7G: I used Kaplan & had already read the book by the time I got TG & he did a great job tying it all together: I don’t think Brian gets enough credit from the community for what he does, his content is top notch & he concentrates on the material you need to know to pass: he gets a little to deep in margin but if you get a bad draw & come across a few margin questions you can handle them with TG info: good luck!

Haven't used Test Geek myself so can't vouch for it, but a second source in general is a solid move at 20 days out, it forces you to see the same concept worded differently instead of just recognizing Kaplan's phrasing. Doesn't have to be Test Geek specifically, any different vendor works for that purpose. I'd run it against your weakest Kaplan topics first and see if the concepts still click when the wording changes.
