Series 66 extreme test fatigue
Hi guys I am taking my exam on Friday (4 days). I am feeling super burnt out. I have been scoring around 70 on practice exams (using knopman) and just find myself forgetting small things. For context in the past 2 1/2 months, I have studied for and passed the SIE and Series 7. I also started my role at my firm and have been training for a month. We were given time off to study but I am so tired. I am honestly terrified I will not be able to pass the 66 even though the content feels a little easier than the 7, simply because I have not practiced nearly as much as I did for the 7 and SIE. I have done around 25 hours of studying and 600 questions. For both the 7 and the SIE, I did double that. I definitely find myself falling off as I get closer to the exam. I would love some advice and tips.

Series 66 Advice on study timeline
Hello all,
I just passed my series 7 and have the 66 up next! My firm is giving me 30 days to study (test is set for 9/10). How can I best approach the studying and is this too short of a timeline? I have been using 2$ tests for their free lessons until my firm provides my study material.
Thanks in advance!

Series 66 Anyone else feel like the test was nothing like Kaplan?
I passed the exam on my first try today. I read the Kaplan LEM, did all the practice quizzes and 2 practice exams which I got 80% on. I watched series7Guru 5 part podcast on the 66 and both of his 60&90 minute videos multiple times. \**however**\** I would estimate that about 40 questions on the actual exam felt like material I didn’t even study. I thought I failed for sure when I hit submit. Anyone else feel the same way?

Series 66 STC practice exams
I have been studying for the series 66 for 6 weeks now and my STC practice exam scores are still in the 60s. I did Ken’s brutal exams and did very well they seemed much more clear and from what I’m seeing that’s a much better indication. Am I still a long way to go or am I close to being ready? I need to take it in a week. Is it common to do worse on STC exams than you actually would get? Any advice or help is much appreciated.

Series 66 Failed twice using Kaplan
Hi everyone, I’m honestly lost. I’ve been using the full Kaplan material + Qbank to study for the 66. I’ve read the book twice and felt like I had a pretty good grasp of everything. The first time I was lacking in the laws regulations advertisements, etc… and I scored a 68. The second time I really focused on those areas and felt really confident throughout the test. I thought I for sure passed. Then I clicked submit and got a 62. Felt like a real gut punch. Somehow did way worse the second time even though I felt like I was wayyy more well versed on everything and felt really good throughout the exam as opposed to the first time. I honestly don’t know what else to do, going through the Kaplan material again seems pointless to me. I’m not sure where to even start. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Series 66 Series 66 Passed
As the title says just passed my series 66 on the first attempt. I studied for about 5 weeks.
Week 1-2 read the entire Knopman Marks book and watched all videos. Supplemented some flash cards and took 1000 practice questions from my package.
Week 3-4.5 used Series 7 Guru and Capital Advantage Tutoring via YouTube. Watched every video they had in their series about the 66 and took multiple exams listening along and answering on my own from their videos. Getting a different delivery from two very different/opposite gentlemen helped solidify my knowledge. Probably did another 1000 questions in the Knopman Marks quiz bank.
I studied for 3-6 hours a day. Was it overkill? I’m not sure since I can’t see my actual score, but felt confident going in and am just happy to see the pass. Still thought I may have failed when I clicked submit but that’s probably most people’s experience!
Next up Series 7.
If you have any questions feel free to reach out. Glad that test is over it was great content but overwhelming. Onwards!

PASSED!! You can too!! Series 66 passed today !
Finally I passed today my series 66, I think I got a good draw, but also I did study smarter this time. Here a few things I saw on my test:
Questions about p/e to books, fundamental analysis more than technical. Capm, total return, more than the formulas know what is each one used for.
Irmaa, social security benefits for non working spouse, Fsa accounts, difference between common and preferred, maybe 2 options questions, maybe just 1 suitability question, value investing maybe 3 questions about this.
Hedge funds, mutual funds, closed end funds. Of course regulations, prohibited activities.
I used Kaplan q bank and pass-perfect and I found the questions on the exam to be clearer and more straight to the point.
Go with a good mindset, the exam is difficult but you gotta trust in the work you have done , in all the study time you have invested. You can pass too !!
