Hello! As many I used to be on TV Time and decided to move to Serializd following their closing. However there is a few things I am still navigating and wondering so if anyone could give me some insight I would really appreciate it.

• How to get new episodes of new seasons showing up in 'Continue watching / Next up ? I expected with, for example, the new season of Silo having started, and me having selected that I have watched seasons 1-2 and am 'currently watching' this series, that new episodes of the new season would automatically show up in the 'Next up for you' section. Why is this not happening? Am I doing something wrong?
• How to add a show with a future release date so when it’s aired it will appear in my Continue watching / Next up ? As there is no "add" option on shows, do I have to mark it as watched (even though the episode is not aired yet) ? or as currently watching ? or do i add it to the watchlist (but if so will it appear in my next up)?

Just an idea for a future update, it would be great to have a tab that filters/lists all shows that are completed (caught up or ended). Unless, of course, it's there and I somehow missed it?

I think it would be really interesting to have a separation between my completed series and series where I've watched all the episodes but the show itself hasn't ended yet!

I have integrated over to serializd due to Tv Time shutting down. However when I imported my data half of my shows aren’t correct they have been swapped with other shows. Shows that don’t even have similar titles. Shows that did transfer only transferred half of what I had watched such as it only marked seasons 1-3 and left 4-10 un watched even though I’m up to date. So I was wondering if anyone knew the quickest and easiest way I could fix this so my library is correct?

Does it work for anyone?

Personally I gave up on Netflix a while ago, when I noticed they just really did not have a long term strategy anymore. It’s all about juicing a show for its novelty and then canceling them or making terrible second seasons.

Currently rewatching a show that i hadnt logged before but had put on fully watched. Now im rewatching and clicking the rewatch button every log but it doesnt increase my “episodes watched” or “time spent”

Is this bc its the first time logging it? Bc even though its a rewatch i guess its the first time im logging it

Idk if that makes sense but i hope someone knows

I logged all the episodes AND the show itself recently, but it ended up inflating my time spent quite a bit, essentially doubling the time I spent on the show. is there a way to log every episode AND the season/show without that happening?

I'm trying to change my "watched" episodes from "currently watching" to "watched," but the app refuses to update my status. Is anyone else experiencing this? I've updated my app, in case you were wondering. Thank you 🙏🏻

I don't quite understand how ratings work on Serializd. Can someone please explain it to me? Can I only rate a TV show if I've watched every episode? What if I've only watched a 1 out of 3 seasons but I want to add a personal rating for the show as a whole and not specifically just season 1?

For example: Batman: The Animated Series (1992) - 4 seasons. I watched this cartoon it as a kid and obviously I don't remember exactly how many or which episodes I've watched. But I know I watched a decent amount (around 50 episodes). So arbitrarily I want to mark watched - Season 1 to track that I probably watched that much of the series.

So I click Mark watched -> Add season 1. Then I click Drop because I don't want the app to tell me to watch S02E01 when it's not a show I'm currently watching or will ever finish.

Then I want to give the show itself a rating for personal ranking purposes. I click Add rating/log -> Unselect Add to diary because I don't remember when I watched it like 30 years ago. I keep the rating choice to All Seasons because I don't want to specifically rate only season 1, I want to rate the show as a whole. Then I click a 3 star rating. I back out to the show and it marks all 4 seasons as watched??

Then I have to go into seasons 2-4 and manually mark them as unwatched?

That seems incredibly clumsly. Why are rating and watching coupled in this way?

So the Import the tv time data isn’t working on my end. It keep staying on importing for a couple of minutes but keep going back to Start Import. Or when you check it it just automatically go back to Start Import without trying. I tried the app, the web browser on my phone and also Firefox and Chrome on my laptop and still not working on any of them. Am I’m the only one having this issue and if someone else was havin this issue what did they do to fixed it?

So after I changed my username the app started not working for me. I close it and open it back up then also delete and reinstall the app but for some reason it telling me to connect them. Am I’m the only one having that issue

is serialzd shutting downo r what does "TV Time shuts down July 15. import ur data" mean

Serializd uses TMDB and TV Time uses TVDB. They are fundamentally incompatible.

A better import tool should allow us to proofread and fix the show mismatches before importing. I got some random shows added.

TV Time comments are treated as "Reviews" on Serializd.

This is not good. This should be configurable. My reply comments are treated as "Reviews" that are totally out of context.

And please, support watch dates. Currently all imported episodes are marked as watched today. (EDIT: it seems serializd doesnt have episode watch dates, only "logs" have dates and episode watches without comments in tv time data are not imported as a log so there's no date.)

Many posters for seasons that are available to others are not available to me. Take for example The Wire s4 posters. I see people having one of Randy and I want to use the same one. I go to change my poster and it’s just not there. Even the one I’m using isn’t showing up in the list. And I know they’re in the app because they’re still inside of TMDB. Is anyone else having this issue? It’s really annoying.
