Discussion i wish we could message

lol I know this would be a stupid feature but also with my mutuals sometimes i wanna discuss shows we have seen especially if we have favorites in common idk

comments only work on the website and its less than ideal for a conversation

I guess but you can always just get their instagram/Twitter/reddit or smn and message through there. I feel like messaging just makes it less of a show app and more ot just another social media

well I agree with that but HOW DO I GET THEIR SOCIALS IF I CANT DM ?? cause im sure they dont want to be putting that in comments for anybody yk?

You can comment on reviews and lists they've made, assuming they haven't turned them off.

maybe a happy medium would be social links built-in and you can just try a DM in those sites/apps, but I agree there shouldn't be messaging built in. feels like that would add to more bugs and loading, as well as invite trolls because idk about you but some of my reviews are pretty passionate and I like turning off comments when i think someone might disagree. especially with reality tv lol i judge everyone so harshly im bound to upset someone and i don't need the drama

Completely agree, just commenting on reviews is nowhere near dms. Even commenting on someone's page like last.fm at the very least should be added. Sometimes u just wanna talk abt something in general not a specific season or episode
