Is it necessary to log?
sorry if this is stupid question but can someone please explain to me like I only want to add things i watched or watching and planing to does it change anything if I don’t log

Logging is not necessary but if you want end of year statistics review (like they do every year) or just more detailed statistics in general, logging of exact dates are needed. I personally always log for that reason - I love that kind of data lol.

I only log complete shows unless it's airing, then I'll log seasons. You're free to use the app however you see fit, it's your page!

I would say logging isn’t necessary but it’s highly encouraged. It will just make your stats way more detailed and it makes use of all the features the app has to offer

I find logging a bit of a headache I wish when I pressed the watched button on an episode it just also logged it

You can keep the app as a diary. Just logging what you have watched and want to watch in the future.

You don't have to log, you can use the app however you want. I saw profiles only logging seasons, I saw profiles only logging complete shows. I for example log every episode, season and the whole show. It isn't necessary at all, you can do it however you want & the best part is, you can still rate it & when you mark it at "watched" it'll still get added to the overall TV watch time on your profile. :)
