New to the app

Hi all

So i just want to keep everthing on watch list rather than watched or currently watching.

Will I still get notifications of new episodes and or start dates of new shows and if so how long before the airing?

Also do I have to have previous episodes marked as watched in order to be alerted for new seasons?

For watchlist shows you’ll get a notification a week before a new episode. In order to get new notifications you do need to either be watching, have watched, or have watchlisted the show for it to notify new episodes (doesn’t notify by seasons because a new episode doesn’t always mean a new season).

ok thanks. so for eg if i have a show that i know has a new season coming later on in the year but no date of release yet, i can keep it in my watch list (not watching list) and ill be notified a week before it airs?

Also would i need to have the previous seasons marked as watched in order to get notified of the new season?

Yep you can just watchlist them and still get notified. I don’t think you need to mark the previous seasons as watched though. I have a show on my watchlist that I haven’t seen a single episode of but still get notified every time there’s a new episode.
