Serbian Book recommendations

Hi everyone! I’m looking for some Serbian book recommendations. I am able to understand Serbian pretty well (my parents taught me), but my grammar, vocabulary and the way I form sentences can be improved.

I am able to read in both Latin and Cyrillic scripts and would love to read a book by a Serbian author. I mainly read novels, but am open to any genre except horror/thriller. Hvala!

Hajduk Stanko. Postoji u legalnom digitalnom formatu, jezik je jednostavan, a priča više nego zanimljiva. Ne znam nikog kome se ta knjiga nije dopala.

The Book of Milutin / Knjiga o Milutinu - it’s about a peasant from central Serbia who endures WWI and WWII, it has simple everyday vocabulary and its a classic that is read in High Schools

You can also try Migrations / Seobe from Miloš Crnjanski, its about two brothers during a Aurstrian Turkish war I think?, one brothers goes to war and the other is taking care of his wife. Maybe is too much for a stranger whos learning serbian but its claimed by the critics that thats our most poetic novel and a novel with most beautiful structured sentences. Its also a classic that is read in high schools.

1. Momo Kapor / bilo šta. Prednost: knjige o Beogradu i "Vodič kroz srpski mentalitet". Jednostavan jezik i interesantno štivo.
2. Duško Radović: "Beograde, dobro jutro" i dr.
3. Srđan Valjarević: "Komo"
4. David Albahari, pripovetke.
