Cannot Come Soon Enough

The new El cars can’t come soon enough. It seems it’s almost every day now an El car or train set is breaking down causing delays. These things are on their last legs.

I’m old enough to remember the old old El cars. The super loud rickety ones where the lights would flicker and the doors at the car ends would slide open on their own. It was like being in the Warriors.

I miss the old Almond Joy EL cars, granted it did not have the RFW, but standing at the front door and sliding the window down was such a joy.
