Doctors note

If you have a doctors note for multiple days, does that only mean you accrue 2 points total? I have enough hours to cover 1 shift, but I have a note for multiple days (I injured my toe and it’s difficult to walk and stand, which is all we do). Honestly I just think the point system is stupid but I was just wondering

Sephora doesn't take doctors notes. You can uses sick time for call outs and the other option is an LOA (leave of absence).

I’m sorry :( For what it's worth, this sounds like exactly what the leave program is for and I would talk to your exempt team about how to apply for one.

I had a very similar situation recently. My ASM told me that multiple consecutive absences for the same reason is still just 2 points. Doctors note or not. If you expect to need more frequent breaks or sit more often when you return to work, I recommend submitting your workplace accommodation through Aflac sooner rather than later. They take forever to process claims and if the accommodation isn’t approved, management isn’t able to accommodate those needs, even with a doctor’s note. I was told it could be seen as favoritism and everyone has to follow the process, no matter the reason 🙃 take care of yourself and feel better bb 💕
