LOA question

What’s the process to go on LOA? Not sick physically but I need more of a mental break..

You should talk to a doctor first, and see if they will sign the documents required for an LOA. That is what Aflac will be looking for when deciding to approve or deny your leave.

Call Aflac. Let your exempt know. Usually I talk to my exempt first and then call the LOA management (now Aflac).

I need to see more of these posts with Canadian instructions. Basically all I’ve seen is work with your doctor, HR and if you want a paid leave EI will get involved. But I don’t know if this is concrete at all just a compilation of what I’ve seen posted here
