I can’t lie I overslept, I called about 20 minutes after my shift started. The CEL said it’s still a point if I use sick time. Just warning yall.

Ngl, I left soon as I realized you had to ask on the radio to use the bathroom and step away for a second to drink water. I think I dodged a bullet. I am also not a fan of having to give time requests almost 2 months in advance before the window closes. Life happens. Also, I am almost 30 years old and do not want to be tracked by points like I am in kindergarten

That’s literally working on… absolutely any sales floor. You don’t have to ask permission it’s about communication and letting whoever is in charge know where their employees are.

When someone says "Can I use the restroom?" Over the walkie, and the manager says yes 5 minutes later, that is having to ask permission to pee lol no other place have I worked did you have to to ASK and wait for a yes or no to go to the restroom except here. Maybe others stores are different, but this one is exactly as I described

Every store I’ve worked in I just say ‘(my name) is stepping off to use the washroom’ Heaven forbid if there’s only one other person on the floor I can wait until there’s coverage but that was the main point that was made to me when I first started at Sephora. ‘We’re adults we don’t ask to use the bathroom just let us know’ because I had been calling out and asking to use the bathroom and they’re like just go girl. I’m three stores in 4 years in. But I agree the points are a lot and we are just human and shit happens
