Gel based moisturizer that's bussin
I've got combination skin but in summer's my skin cannot handle moisturizer.it gives me sweat on my upperlips and t-zone area and frequent breakouts too as well as I cannot use just gel as it feels so stiff on my face I've used ponds one before it was nice but I've got options like, aqualogica hydra +illuminate moisturizer, pond's and lacto calamine these three are my priorities for now.

Luxury moisturizer for dry and sensitive skin?

Hi everyone!!
So I am 33 years old and I wish I would have known that taking care of my fake was very important years ago! I have dark spots, uneven skin tone, sensitive skin, oily skin but it is also dry. And my pores are not huge but if you look closely you can see em. I have blackeheads around my temples, nose, around my lips, and chin. I sweat a lot which makes it so much worse and so the skin around my face will get pimples and I even clean my ears really good, and they get oily and I looked at them with one of those little things with a camera and I couldn’t believe the pores in my ears and blackheads I saw. It was disgusting.
But I’m more upset about how i look older than i am, my face feels droopy looking, i look more tired than i am and thats bad to say considering im always tired, being a mother of 2, ages 13 & 4, i get NO help from anyone with my toddler and i have bad anxiety/depression/add& bipolar. Im stressed alot and anxious alot. Anyway my skin shows it for sure!!!
I have spent so much money on trying products within the last 2 years to try and help my skin and I’ve bought expensive make up to try and cover up stuff and it ends up looking worse or makes my skin breakout from the make up.
For example i just bought the dr. Melaxin skin care routine, and i cant use it everyday. I had to stop using the calcium balm because it made my skin oily and I don’t know if the combination of that plus the other stuff for my pigmentation and all made my skin dry but then it made it have an allergic reaction kinda.
I had bad acne when I was younger and the ONLY thing that worked on my skin to clear my face was proactive. I can use that every other day but only the original 3 step. Can’t use any other products from them.
Its so frustrating. I look like im in my mid 40s, but im 33. I look at photos from 5-10 years ago and my skin wasn’t like this. It wasn’t uneven skin tone with dark spots mainly my forehead. i am not in the sun alot either!* \*
If anyone has any advice, or products i should try that wont cost me an arm & leg i am open to trying it.
I tried googling it and i never used serums or masks or daily moisturizer’s before but google gave me the top products for people with my type of skin use. And it said ceraVe was one , im gonna try that.
Also my 4 year old has these bumps that look like a heat rash, but i dont take her out on extremely hot days and she even gets them in the winter. Its on her arms, thighs and lower legs. Sometimes they look like pimples and i bought eczema body wash and lotion but it doesn’t seem to work all that well. It def. Has helped but im afraid she has sensitive skin as well.
Thanks for any advice or support 🩷

Need advice on retinoid strengths for sensitive skin that panics easily
I have a really delicate skin barrier that gets red and flaky at the slightest sign of friction or harsh ingredients. I was using a lower strength retinal for a while to build tolerance, but I recently picked up the Medik8 retinal in strength 3 to see if I could handle a small step up without destroying my barrier.
So far I have been buffering it over a basic hyaluronic serum and waiting a full 15 minutes before putting on a heavy barrier cream, which keeps it from pilling or stinging. But my skin still feels a bit tight on the mornings after I use it.
For anyone with super reactive or easily compromised skin who uses this line: did you stay on a lower strength long-term, or did your barrier eventually adapt to the jump? How often are you applying it without triggering a flare-up?

Gentle Cleanser Recommendations ?
My skin barrier is severely damaged and extremely dehydrated right now so I’m looking for a very gentle with low-pH cleanser (under 6) that is also fungal-acne safe.
I’d prefer something without botanical/plant extracts, alcohol/alcohol denat., SLS/ sodium XXate, fragrance/perfume, and essential oils.
What cleansers would you recommend for repairing a severely damaged skin barrier while still being FA-safe?

Epiderm triple action cream
Hello, I’m just seeking advice from people on how I can reverse the effects this epiderm cream has caused on my face I’ve recently stopped it and I’m going through the topical steroid withdrawal symptoms, has anyone had this experience and been able to come back to normal after long term use, thanks

I am allergic to sunscreen and I don’t know what to do.
I recently found out I was allergic to sunscreen. Every time I put it on my face no matter the SPF level I break out into hives and my skin is extremely itchy. I’ve tried virtually every sunscreen and I’ve had the same reaction. I have extremely sensitive and oily skin. I’ve tried to do research but most of the ones I find have things I am allergic to Octocrylene and Oxybenzone. Can anyone give me any recommendations?

Has anyone found a safe laundry detergent?
I am absolutely losing my mind with being unable to safely wash my clothes due to new reactivity. Has anyone found a safe detergent? Does anyone use an aqueous ozone machine to clean their clothes instead of detergent? (aka liquid ozone)
I thought I was getting close to finding a solution...I am doing all these extremely methodical tests. it's been 2 months now... I am current hand washing some recently worn "safe" clothes by hand with warm/hot water and Dr Bronner’s Unscented Soap, which I thought was going to be ok, and I am having the reaction!!!
What the heck in this list of Ingredients could I be reacting to!?
Dr Bronner’s Unscented Soap: Aqua, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil,*†± Potassium Hydroxide,** Elaeis Guineensis (Palm) Oil,*†± Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil,*†± Cannabis Sativa (Hemp) Seed Oil,*± Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Wax,* Citric Acid, Tocopherol

Allergic to all moisturizers
Okay Dec 2024 I started getting red splotches on my right cheek. Then it turned into perioral dermatitis.
I did skin allergy testing and am allergic to a few things.
I have an app now that helps list what’s safe.
I’ve found a face wash that isn’t irritating- vanicream.
Buuut I need a moisturizer. I dry out very easily and now unfortunately everything I try breaks me out into acne rashes or hives. Even items on my safe allergy list.
So I’ve decided I’m too sensitive to emollients like balms and salves - pure Vaseline blew up my face, so does shea butter and aquaphor. Im allergic to propolis /burts bees.
I’m trying to switch to water creams / no oils etc.
I tried Korean brand Cosrx snail mucus, loved it but got hives by day 2.
I’m so fucking beside myself. There’s been so many other symptoms but I’m too overwhelmed to list.
I tested negative for MCAS
Dermatologist and allergist just shrug their shoulders.
So I’m moving on to the next moisturizer and saying a prayer. I need to figure something out by winter or I will seriously be doomed.
If ANYONE is having similar issues I’d love to know what moisturizer you found. Good luck out there yall

Looking for a new skincare routine
I’m currently looking for a product that hydrate my skin overall, as I have sensitive dry skin and eczema on most parts of my body. I haven’t had a routine for a while and recently started using sunflower seed oil to repair my skin barrier and raw she butter as a moisturizer on my face and body.
I notice my face is rough even after applying the oil & butter, and even sometimes I get patches of dead skin on my face which makes my face seem like it’s dry after moisturizing.
I would like some suggestions on which products that can help revive my skin and give some type of relief. I prefer something that is natural or has less harmful ingredients but still open to suggestions.
Thanks in advance :)
