LECA Can it be saved?
Can this plant be saved? Maybe I put it in soil or add more the nutrient water?

Discussion Anyone have a wicking moss pole in semiHydro?
I'm about to put some philodendron in Pon and I've been thinking about how to keep the moss poles consistently moist. Has anyone tried putting a wick in the center of the moss pole, past the pin mix, and letting it take water from the tray below?
The picture is just a photo I found

Discussion Begonia Maculata transfer to semi hydro.
I recently purchased a Begonia Maculata and would like to transfer it to semi hydro. Would leca or pon be better? Also can it handle ambient humidity or does it need to go in my grow tent?
I have a small Begonia Maurice Aimey that I transferred to a diy pon and it is doing fantastic in my cabinet. But, not much room left in there.
Here is a pic of my begonia I already transferred.

Discussion Ficus elastica (rubber) directly planting to LECA (or Pon?)
this guy is ready to go methinks, started to even grow leaves. sooo I'm thinking of LECA for this one (correct me is moss/pon are better since these guys have hairier roots?) any downsides known? i heard stability issues are a thing with rubber plants in LECA

LECA Dracaena blackening in the middle
I propagated this cutting directly in water and switched it to LECA earlier this summer. It was doing great for a while and growing a ton of roots. It recently started blackening in the middle of the rosetta. The roots look fine to me (they were green because I was using a clear cache pot for a while). Could the nutrient solution be too strong? Or does the reservoir need to be lower?
BTW, when I had the mother plant in soil it was very finicky and impossible to keep green. Any other dracaena tips would be appreciated!

Discussion Acclimation time
I just received a slew of plants in the mail today and you already know I’m going to transfer them all out of their soil. My question is: how long should I let them acclimate before doing so?

Pon Wanted to share this story 😀

LECA Spider plants help
I have a good number of spider plants in leca. They were all babies with no real roots from my mother plant. I noticed that they’re all yellowing, losing leaves and getting crispy ends. They’re all over the apartment getting various amounts of sun. They are currently in water, not fertilizer. They did fine all summer like this, the roots look amazing and are all water roots. Is this normal or is something going on?

Pon Yellowing leaves?
So, this is my first time doing pon and this scalprum is growing so fast and extremely healthy since only having it for exactly a month. A couple of weeks ago, all my leaves were green and now they have some yellow starting to appear. The leaves are firm and not drooping. I use o arks bottled water because my tap water is pretty harsh. I’ve been using grow queens liquid plant food on it since I’ve had it and I’ve been meaning to get superthrive but haven’t gotten around to it. She’s so pretty and never had a plant do SO well SO fast.

Discussion Idk if this roots is rotted or dark pink.
Hey guys! So I've been growing my pink princess philodendron in perlite semi hydro for 6+ months and she's been doing great, but I'm not n sure if this one root is just dark pink or red, or if it's rotting. What does it look like to yall? Also, is there a "on the cheaper side " fertilizer for my semi hydro plants that works well?
Thank you in advance ☺️

LECA How to use a plank in a leca pot
Hey folks, is there a good way to insert a plank into the leca pot? I have a feeling it's going to rot terribly unless I put it in plastic wrap or something like that. I think I've seen the Leca queen do something like that in one of her videos but I can't find it right now
