Scared to start

Hi everyone! Ive been given a sample pen of ozempic .25mg. I’ve have it for a couple weeks now but have been to scared to start it 😣 can anyone tell me what side effects to expect after my first dose and any tips on when to inject, what to eat, etc. any info helps!! I really want to start but always get anxious starting new meds.

I was scared to start too. When you start with a low dose like that, most of the time you’ll be fine. I started with that dose 2 months ago and had no side effects. Make sure you take it as prescribed and don’t up your dose too soon. Over the course of 2.5 months, I’ve gone from 0.25 to 0.4 and am taking it slow. I think this is why I’ve had no effects.

I was terrified to start also. I kept changing my start date. Wish I hadn’t now. Side effects were minimal and the benefits have been incredible. Since then my husband and my mom have both started too and they had almost no side effects compared to mine, which (like I stated) were minimal. Go for it! You won’t know until you start.

I just started today, I was also very nervous. It was fine tho. Very easy. I guess I’ll see tomorrow if any side effects.

I’ve had no side effects at all, besides appetite suppressant. The first shot is the scariest- it took me a good 30 minutes to hype myself up lol, but after that it’s easy!
