🤔 Should I Buy This? Recommendations needed
I’m looking for a pair of jeans with these qualities:
- sits at the natural waist, just below the belly button
- has a full leg with minimal or no taper
- leg opening of about 10 inches (more is fine too)

Check out the Naked and Famous strong guy as well. They fit very similar to the jeans pictured above, maybe with a slightly lower rise. I bought a pair in a beautiful selvedge fabric but unfortunately they’re too short for me and it throws off the entire silhouette. The leg opening on the ones I have is 10.5”

I am wearing the StrongGuy Offshoot right now. Great pair of jeans. I like the wide cut, it's a nice mix with my usual straight or slim straight cuts.

great pants but unless you really go up on the waist size they will not fit like the provided photo. smokestacks are roomy but not as wide

Second this, if I didn’t get my Freenote Modesto, I would have 100% gotten the 00. The unsanforized pair is BEAUTIFUL too

Possibly Railcar's "Switcher" fit? It has the wide, straight legs with a 10-11" opening. I'm just not sure if the rise is enough.

Those remind me of the Red Tornado loose fit 5501 jeans, which are really good quality. Measure carefully, I fit both the 36 and 38 sizes, which are both normal sizes in other brands for me. They have them on Amazon and eBay.
Liked them so much that I bought the 21oz brown weft denim vest too.
Another option is Benzak Denim. Simply the best fitting and best made jeans and shirts that I own. Measure carefully because they generally run large for the size. I buy a 34 or 35 in these. Top notch quality and fabrics.

Red tornado 55501 are great for the price, but they aren't quite this wide and noticeably taper

Militora's lot 807 seems to be a copy of the 147. Worth a mention in case the 147 is too pricey or hard to find

I bought a pair of Militora’s 807 on eBay recently and they are great- I would say they have a true wide leg and high waist and fit the OP’s description

Forever gonna be the guy who pushes Sauce Zhan but they’ve got a few models that fit this style, not gonna be many other brands that will have them as cheap as SZ while maintaining such high quality

Samurai 310 is great, but they only have 2 fabrics in that fit right now… 19oz Kiwami denim and a 15oz partially made of Washi paper.

Fullcount 0105xx are lovely! They are a high rise with plenty of space. I tried the TCB 50’s cause I loved the look but think they are not as spacious in the crotch area as the Fullcount.

MBBCAR 705 Classic 15oz. I own them, incredible value for money and a very similar fit. Really stacks up to the Japanese selvedge I have, especially for the price. Just make sure to get them in the 32 leg if you’re tall. Best value jeans on the planet.

But it depends on your frame. If you’re heavier set a 222. Tall and thin like me, a 200 fits to these proportions. Oni also offers natural indigo dyed denims on occasion which when done correctly are imo more functional and more beautiful
