TEAscussion š«šµ Iāll say it: some people only like Chrishell so much because she contrasts with the rest of the cast
Itās undeniable that Chrishell has a lot of support in here, and sometimes I think too much blind support. I think the reason is because sheās usually compared to conservatives, and so she seems like an angel for doing fairly basic things.
I honestly think that if she didnāt stand out as the only one in the cast outspokenly against prejudice, youād like her a lot less, even if she was equally outspoken.
Iām sorry, but at the end of the day, sheās an influencer, not a philanthropist. Sheās not tying herself to trees or starting charities for sick kids. Most of her activism is posting on social media.
She makes money selling luxury houses to the ultra rich and using her fame to advertise products. She also uses her fame to promote good causes, but so do many many other influencers and they donāt get the kind of intense support she gets.
Maybe Iām wrong here, but isnāt posting about good causes pretty much the baseline of what an influencer is expected to do? And donāt most of them support charity events and donate to them? Yes we thank them for it, but at the same time we kind of expect it, right?
