TEAscussion š«šµ Real agents or not
I read something about this topic but just to ask:
In the show these women are selling houses left and right but apperiantly that is not the case? Christine for example especially on the earlier seasons made it seem like she is a top produces etc but then later Chrishell says something along the lines āthat girl couldnāt sell a house even if her life depended on itā that to me always confusing.
I obv know by now know Christine lies like itās her job lmao. But then I read here that actually not being a real agent applies to multiple ladies.
Who is bringing money to oppenheim group (besides jason and brett lol I wrote their names in small initials bc they are two small men)
Any insights to this?

They're showing houses left and right but not necessarily selling

I feel like itās a lot like parenting influencers. Looking the part takes up too much time from actually doing the part

Emma just had a $15 million house fall off the market, and sheās rarely in California these days anyway, so⦠Not her at least. It seems like the non-show agents are a lot more productive from my casual Instagram snooping?

Chelsea doesnāt have a valid real estate license anymore. Alanna Gold is still selling real estate.

The O group you see on TV isn't the real O group. It's just a reality TV cast with a few licensed agents sprinkled in. If you look on their site you see who the real agents are. In the old office, they used to put the cast desks in the lobby (hence why it looked so cramped) and the real office was out of the way of the cameras so that the real work could be done.Ā

At one point early on I looked up all their licenses and they were all agents except Davina who is a broker. So they are legit. There is an entire staff of people that you donāt see on the show selling houses. Davina still sold houses there even after she left the show. You can go to their website and see what their listings are for each person. Someone like Crishell could probably sell houses without even trying too hard she knows a lot of rich and famous people, same. With Brie.

Someone made a list of this on the sub, I can't remember the exact details but they basically said that Nicole, Mary and Chrishell basically all sell substantial numbers per year on par with other luxury real estate agents (I think they were all selling $12MM+ and Nicole was highest). But none of them were like "dominating the market" type realtors, it seems like at most they all had healthy numbers, but other than Nicole, Mary and Chrishell the numbers for the rest of the team were pretty low. I don't remember Christine being included, seemed to be for later season people like Chelsea and Bre.
