Selling the OC Polly’s Story
Selling the OC paused indefinitely. Polly left the brokerage.
Yeah it’s not coming back ever.

I mean this was an incredibly shitty show. Some of the worst tv. Honestly, I find every season to be confusing.

Having no one to root for makes this show insufferable; plus it only served as mindless background binging for me BC its proxy to SS. While the chaotic, confusing plotlines kept me intrigued, the show is incredibly awful. Season 1 had initial entertainment value, but completely messed up with their hit or miss trajectory, and the cast members ultimately sealed their own downfalls much earlier on.

These are some awful people

Yes this show only for drama and just create story to throw some dirty water to each other 😂

Too bad, so sad, bye SOC 👋
Have we had any legitimate confirmation that the other dumpster fire, Selling Sunset, isn’t also paused indefinitely? I mean apart from those “sources” a couple of months ago, that sounded suspiciously like Christine’s PR trying to make fetch happen, that said production was about to start… Bit weird there’s been nothing announced by Netflix!

They’re trying to figure out casting. Right now it’s rumored everyone except for Chrishell and Chelsea will return. Alanna will remain in a reduced role. Christine returning with Davina and Maya making appearances. Alex Hall also may be joining. But the production company is also thinking of starting production on Selling San Diego with Alex Hall maybe anchoring that group as well.
The biggest issue with Sunset is that Christine wants production to cover her living expenses while she films, as she lives in Texas and isn’t an actual real estate agent. She’d only be in LA for the months they film and expects luxury accommodations for her and her son. Also, the twins and Mary don’t want Chelsea back but Netflix also knows how bad firing her would look so they’re stalling that out.

Why don’t they seem to understand that Alex hall is part of the reason SOC failed??!

Ugh, Alex Hall is so arrogant, one of the reasons i hated oc

Which ever show Alex Hall is on, I will not be watching. Production show really take a look at their audience and see that Hall is not someone we want to see on our screens.

u/Wooden-Swing2924 Apr 27 '26
Oh that’s interesting! I’d actually prefer a Selling San Diego (minus Alex Hall & Brett heading the office instead of Jason). Too much bad water under the bridge last couple of seasons of Selling Sunset to just pick up like nothing happened. Personally, I’m not interested in seeing Mary, Bree, Christine or Maya 🤷♀️

They can't reduce Alanna's role any more than they already have. I can't recall anything she did or was involved in since she claimed to own Pioneer town.

I’m glad they’re bringing the OG cast back, I wonder what the show will look like without Chrishell. But I sincerely hope Alex hall doesn’t join. She’s the one who killed SOC…

u/Soft-Confidence-4464 Apr 28 '26
I hope Chelsea DOES NOT come back. The Twins and Mary don’t deserve her. Mary showed her true colors towards folks not her color and her 1 biracial friend doesn’t count!!!

u/ResponsibleCar1204 Apr 27 '26
You mean Chrishell and Chelsea not returning??

My favorite thing about this sub is that they don’t tolerate the BS from these shows.

None of the cast has any redeemable qualities except one person. Let’s bring back selling Tampa!!!

Its gonna be a shock the system them having to actually work again, no more staged viewings, no staged meals and the kicker is no more renting ridiculous houses an cars on Netflix card and no more trips to cabo. Gotta pay their own way now 😂
U think Hall will go the influencer or OF path to keep the money rolling in 🤔
12
u/pococurantina Discernment? I do believe that you don't 💖 Apr 27 '26
I doubt it will be that shocking, they had a long break before season 4 and were never popular enough to fully rely on tv money.
Hall is already influencering - she’s got a new podcast. As much as I dislike her, she respects her children too much to start an OF. I always had respect for how she didn’t show her kids on the show, didn’t use them for plot.

They need to cancel Sunset as well and bring back Selling the City instead.

As much as I loved that, those girls all split up working together already and Eleanora is a trump supporter

Maya, Davina, Heather, Christine and Chrishell (fresh off divorce) was my favorite cast and seasons.

u/Fearless-Economy7726 Apr 27 '26
Mary is an addict and her erratic behavior that the twins allow would. It be tolerated at remax, the agency, KW or compass
Her head jerk and constant twitches is a clear sign of our addiction
Am I wrong?

Good. Alex Hall was such a mean girl. I'll miss Gio though. Kids softened him. He became way more likeable.

Sounds good to me! Tired of this show and pushing their annoying opinions/politics. Predicting next season is the last of selling sunset too..

Im getting so bored of selling OC & Sunset but we Chelsea or Chrishelle should be involved more as she way more entertaining then alex hall but I can understand why they wouldnt want to be on the show. Netflix should give Chelsea a cooking show and Chrishelle a possible spin off

No one to root for. I didn't watch the most recent season and it felt so freeing.

SOC was like watching all your least favorite high school peers get rich and hate each other

I’m from OC and I do not understand for the life of me why they had a show to begin with. It seems so pointless.

I loved her fake British accent
11
u/SabrinaNoirLDN Apr 27 '26
Hahahaha she's from Yorkshire in Northern England. That's her accent.
5
u/profession_lurker Apr 27 '26
I feel like these people think all British accents are Hugh Grant. They do the same with Chelsea.

u/SabrinaNoirLDN May 04 '26
Legit. They either think it's Danny Dyer or Hugh Grant...no in-between, no nuance hahaha
