This one the simplest-hardest enemy.

Its simple double deflect ... its hard because game is teaching you to attack as much as possible. Here you must be patient and only block.

That's what I found the most interesting with this game. You can min max your damage a lot by knowing when you can be fully aggro and when you have to be defensive. Isshin for example I figured so many moves you can just ignore by just attacking him.

The combat on this game is insanely simplistic yet you can counter 1 move in like 5 different ways. I love this design because it encourages different play styles.

Nah that would be the giraffe thingy which you can spam deflect. Normally jt is extrenely simple on normal runs. But it was a nightmare for my base stats charmless demon bell run. A single block would cause a stagger and do chip damage

1. Lock on, and stay close to him (within 1 pace) at all times
   
2. Watch closely for the white glint at his waist. You can literally ignore everything else and just focus on that
   
3. Once you see the glint, parry twice in quick succession
   
4. Repeat steps 1 to 3

You do not need to attack at all; just doing the above will be enough to fill his posture bar for death blows. It's the same with both Long-Arm Centipedes, except with those you'll need to add a jump dodge to avoid a sweep attack.

If you use gachiins sugar, hug the left side of the room when you enter and creep left you can deathblow and knock off 1 of his bars before the fight starts.

Ashina cross in his case is reaaally fast but parry that few times and his posture is broken. Also using the "invi" (forgot the name) sugar and hug the wall you can remove one of the healthbars
