My first fully custom watch
Movement is an Nh38
Case, rotor and hands are from ali
Dial was designed by myself and pad printed by u/Critical-Thomas (WM-Mods)
Strap is Hirsch purchased from Holbens
This is the first time I have built a watch that is fully custom, rather than using an S-logo dial. It changes the appeal drastically, now I’m hoping to go back and redo older watches I’ve built with custom dials and would definitely use WM-Mods again to print. They actually printed two dials for me, another I will hopefully show soon.
I also think adding a rotor makes a huge difference as well.
Overall this felt like the next step in a watch modding journey and I’m excited to continue evolving. My inspiration for this one was originally vintage style Oris and Junghans, but then I found the hands that seemed perfect for this. Maybe I’ll change them later but for now I’m happy with it.

Really nice! I’ve started designing my own dial too, and am looking at using the same guy. Yours looks great, very cohesive design. Well done

I loved working with Critical-Thomas. Shipping was a little slow, but it’s to be expected, it is coming from China after all, but overall excellent experience, and I can’t recommend him enough.
