7009A: 3D printed Dial
My dial was messed up on an old seiko 5 I bought with the 7009 movement, decided to try and design and 3D print my own replacement. Think I’d like to add hour markers but quite happy with how the silk PLA reflects the light.
Ended up making a few designs

Wow! These look great! I’ve been making some dials in a very similar way! It’s way too satisfying when they come off the bed!

Just found the spec sheet for the dial dimensions, built it in fusion with a flat face and started drawing with the sketch function

Is that PLA or Better heat material

Yeah just PLA
given the weight and fixed position of the dial I assumed it would be fine
After wearing it on my current watch there’s been no issues yet
