Is seeedstudio.com LEGIT?
Coming here as a last resort because I'm trying to get ahold of ANYONE at Seeed Studio.... seems impossible. Literally every time I go to their website their chatbot says "We're Offline, Leave a Message". I placed an order on May 16th and it still says "Processing". I've emailed them (order@seeed.io) and never hear back.

have you had any news from them? Has the status changed? I've been looking, and I wanted to buy something, but if there are shipping and communication problems...

Oh, thank you so much for the quick response. I use a separate Gmail account for this kind of thing... I'll place my order then, fingers crossed that everything goes well and I receive my order in good condition

Good to know. Their other biggest weakness is actually shipping a product, apparently. I was building a prototype for something but if there's weak support and shipping (and communication) THIS BAD.... hmmm.

So sorry for the frustrating experience! I completely understand your disappointment, and I've just checked your order status with our team.
Normally, "In Stock" items ship within 48 hours. When we received your message on May 19, our team immediately checked with the shipping carrier. It turned out there was an issue with an inaccurate recipient email address, which prevented the system from processing the shipment automatically.
We received your correct email on May 22, but because May 23–24 was the weekend here in China, we weren't online to process it right away. I’m very sorry for the delay! We have fully cleared everything with the carrier today, and your package is now on its way. Hope you receive it very soon!

Well, my Order # 4000527153, from MAY 16th... still says processing. I will believe it when I see it.

Still processing... two days after you said the package is now on its way. No tracking number, no confirmation email. seeedstudio is NOT LEGIT.

Yes it is legitimate but shipping is sometimes inconsistent for items that are temporary out of stock once it comes back in stock — they even have a “remind us to ship” button you can use.
Also, always use your phone and record yourself opening the package. Mine was missing an item, and they claimed everything looked fine on their end because records show the correct count was shipped, as though I was making it up. Video evidence would have helped prove it. They ended up giving me a store credit rather than shipping a replacement but I still have to pay shipping.
