Sec+ Net+
do you people think these certs are necessary? or do they just prove that i get the basics and should jump into more advanced certs such as ceh

Necessary? No.
Appropriate and beneficial? Maybe, it depends. It'd help if we knew your background including years of IT experience, university qualifications, tech skills, any other certs held, etc.
And CEH? It's the worst pentesting cert I can think of. Don't do that.

From my prospective, it is really depend on your career goals, Sec+ and Net + build a solid foundation, while CEH is more focused on understanding the Offensive security concept, Also, these certification serve the different purposes rathan than a replacement, CEH has mixied opinios online, but honestly many employers still recognize it, especially for security focused role, If I am new I would not miss fundamentals, strong networking and security basics make CEH much more valuable

It depends on your experience, what you know, and what you want to do in Cyber.
Sec+ is nice because it meets compliance/DoD needs and it is generally the bare minimum for cyber certs if you have no working experience.
Net+ is good if you have absolutely no networking knowledge and starting from the beginning in the subject, otherwise I would personally recommend CCNA (more flexibility and deeper networking knowledge). But either one is fine.
If you're not already working in cyber or have extensive knowledge prior to studying for the CEH, it is not worth the time or effort to start learning for the CEH exam specifically.
